Much like Iggy Azalea, recent headlines have seen Azealia Banks’ name inked more for her Twitter antics than chart-positions or music happenings. The result of which saw fans and critics alike urge the rapstress to take a break from the social media outlet – or at least redirect some of that energy to the studio.
Finally, much like her Aussie arch nemesis, the ‘ATM Jam’ beauty has finally shared news that she’s heeding their advice and giving her fiery fingers a rest from darting 140 characters worth of attacks on her contemporaries. Unlike Azalea, Banks’ break is far from indefinite as she has given her departure a deadline.
