Alexandra Burke is back and reincarnated.
Having risen to prominence as a Pop act after winning The X Factor, the 26-year-old is rebranding with a more soulful, hard-hitting Urban sound.
The singer, whose hits include ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘Hallelujah,’ showcases her fresh musical outlook on new song ‘Renegade’ – which is lifted from her upcoming free EP of the same name.
Unwrapped moments ago, the track is one of six songs featured on the set – which promises to turn Alexandra from singer to storyteller when it arrives on April 27th.

A great change I guess I like the dark sound but look is not my cup of tea. Im still rooting for u Alexandra
Loving the look but the sound nope no no no. With the right producers she could be big but her ego gets in her way. She can sing, act but this material aint cutting it. Radio would not play this. I loved her first album and the releases off the second album.

No ma’am. While the hook is kind of cute in a Shut Up and Drive way, she’s way too talented for that cheap sounding song with all of that whispering. I love the look though especially that last pic.

I don’t think this track or the EP is an attempt at getting radio play, she’s way past all of that as we all know they won’t play her unless she’s signed again by a good label. I’m just happy she’s releasing good music again and not the crap from the last EP or album.
She deserves every success it’s a shame to see her struggle for so long.
I need the Interns, Danja, Pharrell and Salaam Remi to work with her ASAP…with that said i love the song and the look is different for her.
