Just days remain until Ciara‘s sixth studio album ‘Jackie’ jogs into stores.
Singles ‘I Bet’ and ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’ have given fans a small taste of what to expect, however a meatier preview has arrived in the form of snippets of the entire LP.
Due May 4th, the project boasts production from the likes of Polow Da Don, Dr. Luke, and Harmony Samuels and written contributions from Ester Dean, Diane Warren, Rock City, and Cici herself.

tracks 4,5,7,8,9,10 and 13 sound good or should I say promising the rest of the album sound like total GARBAGE

Is it just me or does this release feel pre-mature? She’s dropping an album without fully releasing a second single. There hasn’t been alot of promo or hype going into this album either. It feels too soon. I feel like they could’ve done more with I Bet but the promo came late. I hope Jackie does well though.
She is promoting. She went to the White House with Russell last night, she dropped snippets all of last week, mini vids on her Instagram, bet gigs, and more. Now this her latest act is leaking the album. Soon the album will be on YouTube. As much hype this sight gave her this era, as well as her team; I was expecting some solid cuts. She has like two and a potential out of 16 songs. Basic instinct tease?
in promo, we’re talking about performing at mtv movie awards last month, STRONG press tour, not just two interviews, one being on breakfast club. I don’t know, I hope the album does well, but her label are not putting their efforts in promoting this the way they should.

Omg. A Pop travesty. The only thing that designated with me as a potential was kiss and tell. Everything else sounds like a Nichole scherizgner/Jlo/ Janet rip off. This leak was strategied! She went to that dinner with Russell yesterday. Now she leaking? Someone’s preorder numbers must be unimpressive. I will purchase kiss and tell tho. It’s the only snippet that had me at hello.

Some of the songs sound very identical to some past songs from different artists.
“Stuck On You” sounds like 112’s “Dance With Me” but I won’t give that much LIFE into that yet.
“That’s How I’m Feelin” sounds like another Pop infused with “1, 2 Step”.
“All Good” sounds like the year 2000 R&B Jams. I dig it! Single worthy.
“One Woman Army” is obviously a leftover track and sounds like Chris Brown’s “Turn Up The Music”
Still need to hear the full thang but I’ll just say I am not really impressed (for now) but I will give Ciara my first ever big compliment regarding the vocals on “Kiss & Tell” and “Only One”. It was interesting.

Death at the same pressed individuals writing novels. One can’t get their fave on any chart WW or past 30k and the other is steam pressed from their faves flopping trash singles. Screaming. Slay Ci, the snippets sound good.
The only thing this album slays is your faves existence. Other than that these basic songs are quite comical and misleading. This album is worst than her last. So now she is classified as disco/funk. Something is funky alright. Flop! I just posted this post on Instagram to see what my fellow followers had to say. The few that purchased tickets to her show are recanting and are underwhelmed!! Lls. I love this moment.

Multiple. No boo just Instagram to give my opinion on it. It’s terrible and you guys know it. Her only saving grace now is bad ass visuals. I’m not moved by any of it. Dated to mediocre. Lastly don’t worry about my fave. we are focused on the one in the spotlight promoting this mess.
The second single should have been released two weeks ago. The Joe Jonas remix of I Bet is not required. That said, the album sounds good. It’s her most consistent album since her debut and its the best she’s ever sounded vocally. Sonically, it’s her best album since Fantasy Ride if not before then.
I’ve heard “Jackie (BMF)” and the preview sounds nothing like that, the song is on YouTube and sounds so much better. 1. 2) These snippets aren’t really doing her any justice, honestly. Ultimately, I’m excited for this project. I agree, it’s kinda iffy, but I love and I’ve always supported Ciara, and something in her confidence tells me that she has tricks up her sleeve and I’m ready.

Nice blend of Pop, R&B and Dance! I didn’t like the first 2 tracks and ‘Fly’, but I can get with Ci on the rest of this album. She slayed me with that song @4:32!

Can we all agree that vocally she has improved SO much!!!? I’m really loving this album already. Granted, snippets never do any justice, but from what we do hear, this album could be a winner. There are definitely some great single worthy tracks going on (still bitter that Overdose never became a single). I’m really looking forward to this!!

Based off “I Bet” and the new lovely single “DLWML” I thought she was going to give us some nice R&B with a few ratchet tracks but it’s so POP….
She will be lucky if she would more than the last album. I just don’t understand what this girl hears when she’s in the studio

I will be buying this for sure. “Ciara” was all over the place in my opinion, but “Jackie” reminds me of the reason I liked her during her peak years. I liked every track that I heard.
Sorry but she sounds like an artist who has missed the mark! She stillll sound like she is trying to find some kind of sound to identify with like a debut act. What is so personal about a generic dance album that should have come out years ago? We are moving away from edm now and I think she should have been a step ahead. Come out with something fresh and maybe throw in a couple edm. But she trys soooo damn hard to BITE Janet’s s** appeal but It does not come off s*** at all… She just saying words wihout really connecting. That bmf song sounds goofy….She just seems lost. I am wondering at this point how she stays signed, whats REALLY going on here? Because this sounds every bit of flop worthy.
The I Bet remix with Joe sounds pretty good, maybe she should had released that vs the dance and TI versions.

well it is spring, so the dance sound fits, it just I feel like Dr. R*** gave her left over J lo, Kesha and Britney beats instead of really getting down and bringing something fresh.

This album should have been released May 4, 2011. It sounds like a time capsule to me right now, but I’m still going to buy it because it’s Ciara. I support my girls, but my oh my I expected so much better from someone with SO much potential.
It s like a left over from JLO s Aka album.
If she’s smart she will release Give Me Love as a single in June and let it be one of the huge pop summer anthems this year.
