Beyonce & Jay-Z made sizeable donations to protesters in the cities of Baltimore and Ferguson this year.

How these donations went unnoticed? They did it quietly, doing their part to support those who fight to bring justice to the murderers of slain African-Americans and opted not to publicise it.

Full story below…

The couple’s donations were wired anonymously to protesters who had been jailed for protesting against police brutality but faced heat when they were accused of doing nothing to speak out against the problem.

Fortunately, talk of their supposed detachment for “real life” issues will end after the civil rights activist Dream Hampton revealed that the couple had used their $1 billion fortune to free the imprisoned protesters.

Hampton deleted the tweets in which she broke the news shortly after but failed to do so before her words were picked up by fans who captured the messages now available to read here.

Kudos to them, they are a couple who are d*med if they do, and d*amned if they don’t. If they support, it’s for pr image, if they don’t then it’s “they don’t care about black people.

    • You tried May 18, 2015

That’s how you are supposed to use UR platform! Proud of this amazingly hated but loved by many black power couple! Positivity always outshines the negativity

  2. #JACKIE May 18, 2015

WOW most of the people arrested were criminal looters not protestors!! That money could have gone to that crumbling city’s school system not to a bunch of looters!!!

    • Fran May 18, 2015

I wonder how much the trolls on here talking about what Beyonce and Jay Z do with their money have donated to charity?

    • king May 18, 2015

you right! some kids think that violence is cool – it’s not…
you can’t protest against violence with violence… it’s lame and stupid…

    • rosy May 18, 2015

I agree and they did it to get blacks to support tidal Jay see that the white corporate not feeling his ass no more hot ass mess

    • RobMack May 18, 2015

What I don’t like about these protests is that the person who was killed is always some one who is not in anyway a a positive member of the black community. These people are known troublemakers and lawbreakers. Our communities already suffer from an inordinate amount of lawlessness. We need less crooks and more upstanding citizens. Unfortunately blacks are committing more crime than whites hence a heavy police force. The unintended consequence of all this hatred to police is going to be an increase in black on black homicide once the cops step back in fear of lawsuits and future riots. This is already happening in baltimore and saint louis. Be careful what you protest for. The problem with black people has never been white people but the ignorant people in our group who stymie any efforts of advancing intellectual culture and instead want to party, fight, and bull..t all the time. Now the police are going to let them do their thing, watch the murders skyrocket!

That was nice of Jay Z. He’s such a good person. It’s good to know that he still cares about the black community.

  4. OMG Logic!!! May 18, 2015

So they donated to the criminals that were locked up? What about the countless people who had their property destroyed, vandalized, stolen by these innocent protesters? Oh of course, they’re not Black so fu ck them right?

    • Fran May 18, 2015

      Have you donated anything?

      • guest May 18, 2015

        did you?

  5. hivehighness May 18, 2015

You people find negativity in everything these two do it has to be draining to your energy.

  6. Kanye kardashian May 18, 2015

Great thanks for donating money to looters and thieves.

  7. Centurion May 18, 2015

Wow. Cici da baddest actually said something intelligent for once. I agree with her. They were looters who destroyed public property. The woman who got her pharmaceutical store burned didn’t deserve it.

This is stupid. The Cretins are clearly doing this for attention. This is why they should’ve stayed in school.

    • Kendall May 18, 2015

So at first you praise Jay Z and now you’re following comments based on an urban blog? Get a mind of your own and do some research. Sheep mentality never gets you anywhere.

      • Centurion May 18, 2015

That was shade. It’s either you can’t read or you’re a completely retarded beyţch.

      • Barb-wire May 18, 2015

Kii you can’t reason with a illiterate hunny, once dumb they’ll always be dumb.

      • Kendall May 18, 2015

The only childish shade was you not mentioning Beyonce. You still praised Jay Z and then switched lanes when you read the Ciara fans comment. You clearly don’t know much about the issue. Poor thing.

      • Centurion May 18, 2015

        ???? ???? ????
        |
Again, that was shade. You should’ve stopped at “not mentioning Beyonce”. And Cici da baddest was absolutely right. Chill the f*ck out.

  8. Keri Qween May 18, 2015

????????????????how much are they paying y’all to post this

  9. Sarah May 18, 2015

I don’t believe this story for a second.

  10. Fran May 18, 2015

People on here acting like they are bothered about where the money goes, more than likely have never donated a penny to any of the causes. Lord Jesus help these poor souls!

  11. Black Enthusiast May 18, 2015

80% of the people locked up were NOT criminals, had no previous criminal records, and most of them had not even been charged. There were school teachers, parents, church leaders, students, and even non-blacks who had been illegal detained and held in over-crowded holding cells for more than 24 hours before being seen by a judged of even been charged.

The protests in Baltimore as in Ferguson, created a national platform to speak about the issues surrounding racism, white privilege, police brutality, and impoverished urban communities in America. It is ignorant to assume that EVERYONE involved in the protests were criminals and looters, just as it would be in poor taste to assume that all cops are bad cops. But let’s salute Jay-Z and Beyonce’s efforts to stand in solidarity with these issues that are affecting black Americans.

    • #JACKIE May 18, 2015

Lies! They arrested 250+ people who looted and vandalized properties! Most of the peaceful protesters were not arrested. They arrested a bunch of people who purposefully broke the curfew too! Gtfoh and stop making excuses for criminals!!!! I shade Bey but I thought she had more sense

      • Sure May 18, 2015

Jackie, where are your reciepts. Most of the people who are covering Baltimore and Ferguson are reporting insane amount of police abusing their power and illegal arrests. Do you read anything aside from mainstream media?

  12. guest May 18, 2015

hmm, so all the people who were protesting were looters who burn buildings and such? Let’s see the names of the people and the level of crime they committed. Martin Luther King was arrested several times. 🙂

  14. Kendall May 18, 2015

People in these comments are disgusting. Have you actually done any REAL research into this issue before branding everyone ‘criminals’ or are you too busy being brainwashed by white media? Shut the f*** already, anything to cast negativity on Beyonce and Jay Z.

  15. Centurion May 18, 2015

Who the hell is Beyoncé tho, and why am I being called a hater? I know Jay Z, but that doesn’t mean I have to know his baby mama. Please come down.

  16. Barb-wire May 18, 2015

Death at the usual no-life having h***! making it here before the hive. I guess that new Beyonce post e-mail alert is doing it’s job.

  17. christinastherealtalent May 18, 2015

If it was an anonymous donation, who found out it was them who donated?

    • TheElusiveLamb May 18, 2015

I was wondering that too. I kept reading, but never understood how ppl picked up on it being them. Still though, kudos to B & J.

    • Sugar&Spice May 18, 2015

      Dream Hampton.

  18. guest May 18, 2015

    wrong reply Fran

  19. S****** Blonde May 18, 2015

But weren’t they delincuents?, anyway….I wonder why non-African Americans blacks hates/dislike African Americans, most Sud-Saharan Africans and Afro-Caribbeans don’t want to be associated with them, and it gets worst if we talk about Afro-Latinos, they totally hate Africans Americans. Why is that?, How do you feel about? and Why do you think they have such a bad perception of AA?

    • Sure May 18, 2015

I’m Black British (Caribbean descent) and I don’t hate African Americans .. or even know of any Black people who do. lol how did you come to this conclusion?

    • OMG Logic!!! May 18, 2015

Afro-Latinos hate African Americans because they don’t consider themselves “Black-Black.” They consider themselves superior because of their lighter skin (regardless of whether or not they’re actually light skinned).

  20. guest May 18, 2015

take a look at how the media portrays AA. I befriended a girl from Kenya some years ago. She told me that she was scared of AA because back home in Africa, all the movies she saw based on AA were gun toting thugs. Just how the media portrays Africans as dirt poor. someone explained in their opinion, that AA are so negatively look upon that other blacks from around the world get some of the backlash as well.

  21. Carry On May 18, 2015

This is not all about Beyonce and Jay Z. The dirt-hives can’t get that; they had to come back to reality just like you all should do. Stop bragging on who’s who and be grown for once.

  22. blue May 18, 2015

i love how these ‘anonymous’ danotions are all of a sudden public knowledge…

But good for them for publically not standing for anything but secretly keep supporting…great way to use that voice.

  23. Dossome May 18, 2015

OK,what does the word “anonymous” mean these days?

  24. You wanna love it right bettor like you do then my funky money May 19, 2015
