The ‘Songwriters Hall of Fame’ ceremony brought with it a brilliant performance by the ‘Contemporary Icon’ award recipient Lady Gaga who honoured her fellow cut-creator Linda Perry.
Perry is responsible for penning the Christina Aguilera classic ‘Beautiful’ and many hits for ‘Family Portrait’ painter Pink!

She has the same problem of Christina Aguilera, that’s “scream sing”, not singing. Nobody sings this song like Linda, nobody.

I dunno if you know what that is but it’s the reason why she can interpret rock records, get into her falsetto for operatic feats in the “Sound of music”, then turn around and tribute Stevie Wonder with a funk track then throw on a fur and sing a Jazz standard with Tony Bennett. You sound dumb and your statement is inaccurate. She screams because she can when she wants to give that , Christina screams because she refuses to accept that she’s an alto now and HAS TO. Big difference honey, look up dynamic and learn.

Then you must have missed it when Gaga tried singing without a mic. S****** has a point, Gaga often strains outside of her range and ends up shouting. Alot of those jazz performances display that. Quite contrary, Christina has been singing much more within her natural range and has refined her technique. Although I admit I love her overing singing and melisma
@Grande Gaga is much more comfortable in her range than Ariana which is why she has the hardest time doing the most simple of things like anunciating her words. His point is invalid.
Dynamic, you mean versatility, if you can’t hear her voice almost cracking at times during this performance then you need to clean your ears.
Enunciation has nothing to do with your range or how comfortable you are in it. The only one with an invalid point here is you with that comment. Plus this has nothing to do with Ariana. I already know her strengths and weaknesses.
@S****** No Honey, I mean DYNAMIC.. The ability to make your voice soft, then harsh, then scream/growl, then bring it back to falsetto is vocal dynamic. Which can be showcased in one song, if need be. If you’re not into vocal terminology then just stick to you depressing grunge girl, cause I’m not these ignorant children on here. @grande anunciating your words has a lot to do with it. Again, clearly your TGJ music education has failed you. If something is a little too high or not naturally within your range it is easier to not pronounce certain syllables to help it come out. Not saying in every case but that is 100% fact. I’m not a teacher so I’m not here to give you a free education but you need to stay out of grown folks business if you’re only in 6th grade honey, I’m not here for that.

The fact that you just claimed her voice is dynamic shows you really don’t know what you’re saying. Enunciation has more to do with the mechanics of your jaw and tongue then anything else. Seeking validity online is pointless but I actually took vocal lessons, so save that weak shade. When I struggled with enunciating words correctly it was because of the way I opened my mouth, not how I approached the notes. As it is, Ariana has mispronounced words with simple notes that even Britney Spears could tackle. But again, this isn’t about Ariana. The fact that you can’t defend Gaga without bringing up Ariana says a lot. You claim to have credentials but but you’ve yet to make any valid points defending Gaga.

@s****** Lady gaga has so much more control than Xtina Aguilera. Like it is not even funny. She may strain a little bit, but she does excatly what she wants with her voice. In Xtina´s case she just prays it all goes well (and not now, it´s always been like that) when she tries to hit some hurful belts (which always sound a mess live).
