As reported, the singer – who has nabbed Grammys both as a solo artist and as a member of Destiny’s Child – is the face of a new talent search titled ‘Chasing Destiny.’
The show, which is set to air in early 2016, will follow Rowland as she pieces together music’s next big girl group.
In a unique move, reminiscent somewhat of Diddy’s Making The Band (which of course birthed Danity Kane), the network have announced an open casting call.

Ummm, Little Mix isn’t struggling at all. Kelly knows what she’s doing when it comes to putting together groups.

Finally, Kelly can really show herself and all her ideas with no interruptions but people is waaay off. I really wish her the best.
Kelly will be just fine , she has connections in the music industry that will get these girls off the ground. Not to mention she put together the hottest Pop girl group Little Mix on X factor, it’s a smart business move to go from working for someone to working for yourself. I love this woman I can’t wait for the show to air. But I really can’t wait for this new album !!!! The snippets she’s been giving us has me on my toes

In case u don’t know kelly put little mix together and they doing well. Please don’t bring in letoya coz kelly achieved way more things than her.
“Forever and a Day”, “Commander”, and definitely “Stole” prove that Kelly is a lyrical genius and still has what it takes to crack the U.S. way after her debut as a solo artist. I think she just needs to push more pop-oriented music than R&B, like what Ciara needs to do, and promote the heck out of it. Heck, she already been had the body a long time ago. Showing some more skin than usual could only help sell those pop songs a little better too, I suppose. Either way, I want to see her be exactly successful like her other two sisters, and I’m here for her, especially after she wrote that debut album.
How can you hate on a beautiful soul like Kelly? I think this show will be great because on every X factor, Kelly knew what the F*ck she was talking about.
I love Kelly, but she needs to get some other girl group vets and make this big. She was a FANTASTIC judge on both the US and UK seasons of X-Factor, but I don’t see this shining bright with her starpower alone.
Kelly can be the Diddy, but hopefully she can nab girls from En Vogue, Xscape, TLC, Spice Girls, Little Mix, etc. for some cameos (or even permanent judging roles) and she needs a Lauriann Gibson lol. Boom boom cat those asses.
I like kelly but shame on her for letting letoya steal her thunder as 2nd best in DC when imo letoya has a thin shrill voice compared to kelly. Girl group are relavant according to Hakeem lol at him looking for a girl group when his own career hasn’t even takin off yet… same for kelly lol she nerd to focus on her own career instead of trying to her a judge.

Let her do what she wants it’s non of business. There is no excuse for her career she has number 1# songs, awards, platinum and gold cds, she sold over 27 millions worldwide so there is no excuse.
