Wow! If you were a fan of Tamar’s last album, you won’t be disappointed.
I got an early copy of the deluxe edition, it phacking slays my existence.
True, genuine RnB music. I can listen to the album without skipping tracks, which is so rare these days.

Yep! I guess it’s safe to say that at least one Grammy nomination for the album is secured. Good for her! I’m happy she’s collecting her accolades and awards just like her sister. She deserves it!

That pic though :), Wendy Williams is awful in and out. A cerrer based on talking trash.

WHY GO TO ANOTHER TV SHOW WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR OWN…….?
    A TV SHOW THAT’S AT YOUR TV SHOW’S LEvEL……..

    • Cough Cough October 1, 2015

You. Sound retarded, her not promoting on multiple tv shows on multiple channels which cater to multiple demographics is exactly what she should do!!! She would be foolish to only promote it on her own show which she’s already been doing for months now. All her viewers know already.

    • #JACKIE October 1, 2015

The Real is not on Wendy’s level!!!

      • Arz October 1, 2015

U realize that Wendy has been talking s*** about Ciara? Wendy is a hateful b74tch.

  4. sleazy October 1, 2015

The real is better than wendy!!!! And doing well

  5. StrawberryMuffin24 October 1, 2015

Tamar aka Slaymar is everywhere she’s doing her thang! I love the short dark hair on her she looks so pretty and that outfit is everything! Can’t wait to buy her new album tomorrow I’m loving every song I heard!

I don’t know what it is, but she is serving it this era! She’s even bringing it to the folks that usually don’t check for her. I honestly don’t know why “Angels & Demons”, or even “Catfish” isn’t burning down the charts right now, and that’s why I need her to promote like crazy and leave the Real alone for a while.

  6. toohotfortv October 1, 2015

That bih works gosh darnit! Lordt tomorrow is such an awesome day for music.

I NEED “Angels & Demons” dominating the radio right now! I can’t wait until this album is released tomorrow along with Queen Janet’s forthcoming masterpiece. Tamar needs to promote her but off this era because I want the album to go platinum and she shouldn’t just settle for a gold certification.
_______________________________I’m pissed as hell that Met a critic gave “The Velvet Rope” an aggregate score of 83 while “Ray of Light” got an 87+. Someone needs to be fired over there.

    • Oscar October 1, 2015

      sounds right to me

You think so? I mean I was completely shocked and SPEECHLESS TO DEATH when I saw that Madonna reached into her big, non-reductive bag of tricks and pulled out a “Shanti/Ashtangi” completely out of nowhere. I was impressed and mesmerized! However, I honestly do think that Janet’s album, as usual, had a more apparent theme that was well-connected. I love both albums to death and I believe that they should have the exact same score.

  8. Cough Cough October 1, 2015

This will probably be the best r&b album of the year.

    • Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans October 1, 2015

I can already see it. Janet’s album will give her the most competition too. However, I’m sure both albums will be nominated for Grammy’s next year. The amount of consistency and true r&b assuage from both albums cannot be replicated. I hope they both go platinum and win multiple awards soon.

      • Cough Cough October 1, 2015

No shade to Miss Janet but her newest music isn’t that great. It will be competition in sales but on a music front, Tamar’s recent releases are much better than what Janet has released.! I can’t really get into her new stuff it’s just decent to me, nothing stellar.

    • Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans October 1, 2015

Her new music isn’t that great? Do you know that her new album already has a metacritic score of 76 although it’s not released yet? I’m sure it’ll only get higher as more critics review the album, in which many of them are saying its a homage to that gem she released on ’97 and that it’s her best work overall. I love both albums, I’ll be supporting and purchasing both, and I’m sure they’ll both be the best r&b albums released this year. I just need Tamar to get something on the Hot 100.

      • Cough Cough October 1, 2015

I don’t go by meta critic, I go by the actual music itself and I just am not crazy about it. But I do love Janet. I hope the album is good I will give it a spin but nothing she’s released has got me interested enough to wanna buy. Every song Tamar has released has made me wanna buy

Okay. That’s fine. I can definitely respect that. Hopefully, you’ll change your mind after hearing the entirety of the album.

  9. Lake Erie October 1, 2015

Looking puurrty Tamar! Can’t wait to listen to the album! Tomorrow’s a HUGE day in music and I am ready.

    Tamar looks fantastic!

Ultimately, Janet’s album will have a much larger opening week figure than Tamar’s, but I think that Tamar will have experienced a sufficient increase from her previous albums first week sales. Janet is literally everywhere and in the spotlight once again, so I expect her to go gold within the first month, whereas it might take Tamar 3-4 months. That’s okay with me, though, as long as these ladies scan platinum for their hard-earned efforts. To be honest, the only way K. Michelle can stay relevant now is with her TV show and random posts about Idris because with these two slaying music this year, she really doesn’t have a fair chance. She’ll have to release next cyear with the second season of her shoe. A real Keyshia Cole tease – depending on reality TV show to promote album released at the same time it premieres.

  13. The Real Fan October 1, 2015

So I am Going to to say I listened to “CALLING ALL LOVERS.” For all The Real R&B Lovers Tamar has done it again this album has topped Love and war and she has bettered her sound which is really hard because Tamar is amazing in the genre of RnB. I’m throughly pleased and I can now fully accept all the delays it was truly worth the wait. She deserves to be heard. Stand Out Tracks to me are
    Angels and Demons
    Broken records
    King
    Making Love
    Must be good to you
    Coming Home
    Circles
    S.O.N

    p.s I love them all
Congrats Tamar I’m so proud you are truly a fighter. Your music inspires me so much.

There’s times when she looks crazy and there’s times she looks amazing and this is one of the amazing ones. In a few years, she needs a talk show, she has that day time tv personalty that works.

  15. cocobutta October 2, 2015

Regarding the interview it was a very good one. Wendy felt fully at ease with Tamar and you could see them feeding of each others energy.

Tay be keeping busy and looking good. Defo getting album.

RCA gon end up putting my girl Monica in 2016 at this rate grrrrr kmt

  16. Skyfall October 2, 2015

    Calling All Lovers SLAYSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  17. What now October 2, 2015

She does not ever need 2 go back 2 those blonde wigs.

  18. Sarah October 2, 2015

    Great Interview

  19. Usual Observer October 2, 2015

Tamar and Janet, at the present, are number 2 and 3 on the overall chart and I’m sure they’ll be #1 and #2 in the coming hours. Tamar is #1 in R&B. Seriously. When it comes to R&B, no one is beating Tamar right now. Proud of her! She’s waited a loooong time to be who and where she is now!

  20. MUSICHEAD October 2, 2015

I have been anticipating Janet’s album all year and sadly I’m disappointed. It’s a very somber album.

But Tamar Braxton’s album is amazing! Best album I’ve heard all year!!!

  21. Usual Observer October 2, 2015

In all honesty, the reason Janet will probably outsell Tamar is bc she is JANET JACKSON; however, musically, Tamar has the better body of work by far. Lol. Anyone with ears can hear who is the better vocalist of the two. But, hey. Tamar is doing da*n good for an R&B ARTIST. SO HAPPY FOR HER! Crazy that once upon a time it was K. Michelle v Tamar. Tamar has far surpassed K. Michelle as far as her reach. Plus, no shade to K., but Tamar has more mainstream appeal.
