Good job for her! I wonder how her brothers music career has been going thus far. It’s truly amazing how easily she can get a gold certification, so I really hope that she can earn a platinum one this go around. That would truly be awesome for her. Plus, I’m glad that she’s been able to pull away from those suicidal thoughts. She has a purpose in this world, although she may not have known it for sure back then.

Fantasia is one of the best R&B artists of the this generation. Unfortunately, she is contracted to RCA Records, and the company has not supported their R&B artists since the late 90’s. See Fantasia, Usher, Chris Brown, Monica, Brandy and Jennifer Hudson as examples.
That’s because those were OG JIVE and J Records artist. RCA always catered to Pop artist, so yea, they’re paying their R&B artist dust. Usher being effected the most, because JT NEVER did bigger numbers than Usher until the label merge.
Fanny is the prime example of CATERING to YOUR audience. She’s not my cup of tea, but my mother LOVES her. She def have the MJB listeners. And that’s why she always sh1ts on J-Dud, no matter how hard Clive tries to make her the next Whitney or Franklin.
Not to mention Fantasia is an electrifying performer. We haven’t seen a performer of that magnitude since Tina Turner.
Fantasias last album actually sold more than most female rnb artists who released around the same time. She sold around 400kish and got a Grammy nomination. Name a current R&B artist that has atleast 3 Grammy nominations for every album? Fantasia does! Every albums she’s recorded has been nominated for multiple Grammy’s. At this point, Fantasia has proved her musical power. She’s consistent and her fans allows her to experience. Although I have my favorite Fantasia albums, I can humbly state that all of her albums are quality. Go Fanny!!!

Every soul singer doesn’t sound the same. Some shout a little more than others. That is off putting to the mainstream audience. Stop trying to knock Adele because urban artists aren’t having great success. Although, they deserve it. Fantasia is incredible. She and Adele are two totally different singers. Adele is superb herself.
Side effects of you, sonically, is arguably one of the best r&b albums that came out that year. It not thee best. She has to start carrying herself like the true artist she is. That’s her only flaw.

I wish she would go to another record company that will push her music the way it needs to be pushed..Fantasia is very versatile as a singer so they need to think outside of the box with her push two singles at a time.
