Pop queen Janet Jackson is currently heating up Hawaii with her mega-selling ‘Unbreakable World Tour.’
The diva has played three consecutive shows in the region and made sure to make a mark ahead of a series of shows in Japan next week.
Jackson journeyed through hits such as ‘Nasty,’ ‘All For You,’ and ‘Feedback.’
Much to fans’ delight, the 49-year-old also performed new number ‘Night’ for the first time last night.

Yes, mama! You put your hand out, I reached for it, and I received whatever it is that you had for me! It would’ve been so cool if she performed “Come on, Get Up” as a tribute to her iconic All for You Tour date in Hawaii. I really don’t know why she didn’t combine all three shows into a stadium date, because the demand I’d clearly there for her. Anyway, I’m not gonna judge mama’s decisions and just appreciate the fact that she decided to come back and release new music when she could’ve easily stayed wealthy and unbothered with her husband for the rest of her life. Long live, mother Janet!
I would assume she originally added a date and because of overwhelming response, 2nd and 3rd followed.
Yeah. That’s true. But still…when she saw how the shows were selling out so fast, she should’ve just did one show at a stadium instead of three separate shows, especially since she’s having lots of trouble with vocal rest. Just do a stadium, simply because you can, and call it a day.
Janet has embraced this new era, with a coolness, that is refreshing.
She’s gonna do her tour, her way, not work herself into the ground with interviews, videos, trying to keep up with the youngins.

No, she shouldn’t have moved it to a bigger venue. She did that with Vegas already causing a big confusion and she did the with Australia on her last tour and received a very negative backlash because of all the confusion. Do you have those face together?

I love love love LOVE this album. This song grew on me, so did the later side of the album. This and Well Traveled. The first half still get blasted in the camero.
^ IKR! That second half has been coming in strong lately. It took me a solid month to get beyond track 11 after I got familiar with the album! It’s downright shameful that I’m just REALLY getting into ‘Take Me Away’ this week! …Typical of Janet to do this to me!

I love Night! …and Dance/House music isn’t even my thing. I actually love just about every direction Janet went in with this album. I can’t wait til next year to finally see Janet!!! First of all, Janet is not chasing Pop success or compete with her peers like Madonna is (although what she does is still great).
Second, her focus was on the music and reaching her fans. And she’s fulfilling desires by going on tour and actually releasing new music. She doesn’t need to do another video.
Third, she’s dancing her ASS off on this tour. What your seeing is more subdued Janet who’s crooning.

What a breath of fresh air to come on to this sight and see positive comments. This album is so beautifully arranged and I love every cut. I’m holding this album like its her last but praying its not(even if we have to wait another 7 years) but I really wish her and Missy would do a full album together. First they gave us the timbaland remix of Go Deep, then the remix of Son Of A Gun and then The 1. Now we have Burn It Up. It would be amazing if,say a year 2/3 years after missus new album drops they release a full lp together. We got the male version of Best of Both Worlds with Jigga and Kelly. We need the female counterpart and these 2 iconic women r perfect to pull it off. Janet and Missy BEST OF BOTH WORLDS 2.0

Man this is a beautiful return, the music industry needed this no bs music just quality! 🙂 couple of awards coming at least Grammy for no sleeep it keeps winning on the charts. Wendell Williams can kick rocks before sitting down saying janet needs to be in Vagas to do shows…check the receipts.

Yass, Janet! It took a while for me to really get into this album but now I can honestly say that I LOVE it (except the album cover, lol)! I’m finding it hard to place it as her best album since ‘The Velvet Rope’ because I have such a soft spot for ‘All For You’ and I associate so many fun memories with that era. Anyway, Unbreakable is such a well-crafted body of work with great lyrics, solid vocal performances and stunning production. I love the House feel and empowerment of ‘Night’ and it’s one of my favs from the album.

She’s Muslim now. Can’t show skin. I hate that she’s allowed her husband to influence her. How uncomfortable is it wearing all that mess she has on. And where’s the male dancer’s? Only women who look like men. Her Muslim faith is why her album is so different than past. It sold because of her name. No videos but one. No interviews. Just disappointed .
