Justin Timberlake is hard at work on new material…and he’s set his sights on a 2016 release date for its release.

The ‘Pop’ star has signed on to serve as the executive music producer for the forthcoming movie ‘Trolls’ and will write and perform original material for the project as well as portray one of its lead characters.
He shared:
I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls. This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all.
His last studio set, ‘The 20/20 Experience’, was released in 2013 and will be followed by this soundtrack which features songs inspired by the movie’s family friendly story.

The comedy, which also stars the voice of Anna Kendrick, follows two of the iconic Trolls, Branch and Princess Poppy, as they set off on an epic adventure. Fox has set the film for release on Nov. 4, 2016
