Dr. Luke Hits Back: “I Didn’t Rape Ke$ha”

The fallout from Dr. Luke’s court win over Ke$ha shows no signs of letting up.

With the likes of Lady Gaga joining fans in voicing their support for the ‘Tik Tok’ singer, hitmaker Luke (real name Lukasz Gottwald) has shattered his silence.

In a lengthy stream of Tweets, the producer – who has crafted hits for the likes of Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Pink, and pretty much every major Pop star over the last decade – categorically denied claims that he sexually assaulted Ke$ha. He flat out states that he has never slept with her.

His words below…

Via Dr. Luke / Twitter:

Until now I haven’t commented on the lawsuits, which should be resolved in court not here on Twitter.

It’s a shame that there’s so much speculation out there basing itself on so little information.

The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha’s favor on Friday

I understand why people without all the information are speaking out. I can appreciate their compassion.

But lives can get ruined when there’s a rush to judgment before all the facts come out. Look what happened at UVA, Duke etc.

of course any sane person is against rape and sexual assault but everybody who is commenting is doing so without knowledge or facts.

They are getting behind an allegation only – motivated by money.

I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister.

Kesha has denied under oath the horrible allegations now being made against me. Here is the testimony.

k1
k2

Kesha’s lawyer Mark Geragos made another false rape claim against me that was denied by publicly Lady Gaga

k3a

Mark Geragos (kesha’s attorney) represented Scott Peterson and Chris Brown. How can he pretend he cares about women’s rights?

Imagine if you or somebody you loved was publicly accused of a rape you knew they didn’t do. Imagine that.

I have 3 sisters, a daughter, and a son with my girlfriend, and a feminist mom who raised me right.

Kesha and I made a lot of songs together and it was often good but there were creative differences at times.

It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue.

But I feel confident when this is over the lies will be exposed and the truth will prevail..

I want to thank all my friends and family who have supported me throughout this.

This is an ongoing legal case so I won’t be responding / talking much about this. This should be tried in a court of law.

It would appear that, despite the damaging hashtags and trending topics, the producer is set to fight it out.

Echoing previous sentiments; whichever way this ultimately plays out, there’s unlikely to be any true winners.

Sad.

Come on, Mark. You’re better and more stuff than that. Let’s show this post some respect and focus on Kesha.

Respect? I don’t think he knows what does that word mean. He even make fun of Blue Ivy, an innocent child. But when people disrespecting Aaliyah…

    I believe Ke$ha!

He can save it for all i care. The fact that he didn’t want to release her from the contract speaks volumes. Besides, there’s way too many negative accounts from artists on working with him. I just know that when she releases her next single, people will buy the hell out of it…and it pains me not say that it’ll just make him richer because he’ll have songwriting and producing credits. Hate this p**!

    • MusicFan103 February 23, 2016

Go ahead an condemn a man and mark him guilty despite any proof from a proven liar. I like Kesha and her music, but she has been under oath in 2011 and said she was NOT drugged and she was NOT r**** or sexual involved with Luke. Two allegations she has rode thru the media and just to make him look bad. This is a liar or the girl who cried wolf.

Everyone believes Kesha but no one believes Pill Cosbys accusers. Things that make you go hmmmm.

    • Fancy BISH February 22, 2016

I believe them too! Still love The Cosby Show tho!

Can we deal with the facts please

  7. truthtea February 22, 2016

Kesha needs to understand that she’s still considered a new artist under a new artist contract. Which means, you’re a s**** to your label your first 2 or 3 albums. As for her r*** claims, I think she accused him of it just to better her chances of getting freed. You want more control over your music and image, work for it!!!

  8. FC/JC February 22, 2016

He is innocent until proven guilty…. I bet one thing though, He is gonna turn to the dark side after this drama is over… i can almost bet he will stop working with the basic white pop tarts after this.
However if in fact he is proven guilty, shame on him, he should be locked up, and I hope Kesha can find her life again.

  9. LB February 22, 2016

I believe him and shame on Taylor Swift for jumping on an issue without all the facts.
    ,
Unfortunately, as we have seen in the Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson and now Dr Luke case, when the court of public opinion are made up on an issue, there is no changing their mind, even when they are wrong.
    ,
The lawyers, just like MJs and Cosby’s lawyers will dissect these allegations and eventually the truth will come our. Unfortunately for Dr Luke, his reputation is ruined forever. The damage is done.

  10. King Mark111 /.\ February 22, 2016

All I’m saying is that when K Michael filed suit on Nashville, or whatever his name was, that label gave her everything and let her go because they knew they was in hot ish. But I’ll tell you what I won’t do, accuse anyone until Facts comes to light. If this was a Black producer, most of you would be on the other side. So…

  11. Blue Ivy Rod February 22, 2016

sexual assault is very hard to prove but I do believe that he has made threatening or abusive comments towards her. r*** is not only physical but the power to sway someone emotionally and mentally. he probably gets off on controlling her and able to treat her however way he likes to.

the one thing I noticed is that him saying something means that there is enough or there is some shred of evidence that can take him down.

he should have let it ride or if he isn’t an asshole like he claims then let her go of her contract.

    • #formlation ?☕ February 22, 2016

Not sure where you got your definition from, but r*** is a physical act. Anything else you are describing constitutes as emotional abuse or psychological advice.

Can this man have a fair trial.some ppl are judge, juror and executor without knowing exactly what had been going on. If he has been sexually inappropriate, he should be jailed. However, if he’s not, we have accused an innocent man of a heinous crime…

      • Blue Ivy Rod February 23, 2016

r*** isn’t just physical it could be mental as well thus why some rapists choose to cling to their victims so they could feel the torture all over again. not everything has a singular meaning, and that’s why Kesha is probably having a hard time now because they r*** as only physical abuse and not mental

    • MusicFan103 February 23, 2016

You are not very bright. R*** is a physical act. Just like the other responder said, that would be considered emotional or psychological abuse.

Also let the man be convicted before less than smart you, tries to define r*** as not being physical, convicts a man who is innocent until proven guilty of r***.

      Read a dictionary.

      • siddy February 26, 2016

Sorry, you are wrong by far. R*** is physical and emotional abuse.Have you heard of sexual harassment is. Physical wounds heal, emotional wounds do not. Read a book! And get off the internet. R*** is defined as not accepting no for answer.

  12. Jamie February 22, 2016

People loved to jump on the negative. Positive seems too boring to some. I hope it’s not true though.

  13. Terry B February 22, 2016

I’m conflicted. He has valid points though. Why did she accuse him of date r*** and then retract it only to accuse him again once she wants to be out of her contract? If it was as serious as she’s making it now, she would’ve pursued this the first time around.

  14. Stephon Jackson February 22, 2016

Po’Thang. Sad situation, all around. She signed that contract tho. Sony ain’t letting her go… She needs to deliver at-least 3 outta those 6 albums due.

  15. ?Meteorite☄ February 22, 2016

Well…he does have a point none of us were there and none have the facts. We’re all going off of he said she said, and public opinion in these type of situations generally favor the female because we as a society view women as (for better lack of words) weak/vulnerable. So is Kesha lying or is playing her cards right? And in that context it makes women very great at deception. Hmm one has to wonder….but as my mom says “everything done in the dark will come to the light”

  16. ?Meteorite☄ February 22, 2016

But Kesha as much as this situation sucks, and my heart goes out to you, just be strong and endure as best you can. I’m not sure how many albums left you owe them but just release some “shortcut albums” You know like a greatest hits album or a remix album, just reworking your old material, that way you don’t really have to see him?

    • MusicFan103 February 23, 2016

Well and the thing is, they said she doesn’t have to work with him AT ALL! They said she can work with other SONY producers and not Luke. So she needs to suck it up and deal with the contract she signed. So many people would die to have her record deal or chance to release an album or 6 more via a major like SONY. You can’t lie on an earlier case, and now expect people to believe you.

Poor man. Even if he is not the best man alive, guess what, MOST record executives are not. Its a tough, grimy industry people.

  17. Chillitsjustpizza February 22, 2016

She was r**** at 18 and now she’s 28 saying allnof this only because she wants to end her contract with Sony kii????… You see how sony dragged michael and still didnt release him from his contract even aftervhe died.

  18. MusicFan103 February 23, 2016

Im just so upset with people and how they convict a man of a wrong doing just because a proven liar (by a court under oath) says again he committed the same/similar crimes she said he didn’t do under oath prior.

The general public and people who are not a part of the music industry, lawyers, contract negotiators, all else need to back off and quit trying to act like you understand record deals when you don’t. Or contractual law, when you don’t. If you could sign a contract, have a business spend money on promoting you, and then you could leave whenever you wanted, there would not even be a record business model.

Honestly, what they should probably do, is make Kesha release two more albums with SONY, then a Greatest Hits and a Remix album. and call that somewhat fair if she needs to leave that bad. This could be a 2-3 year give some/take some way to end this nasty ass public battle. I mean she owes the label 6 more albums (total of 8). This would be 4 music albums + the GH and Remix.

I mean honestly this girl wouldn’t have a fan base anymore had she not been in the media for this case, people forget about an it-grip pop star who owned in 2010, when its 2016 already.

  19. February 23, 2016

    what a situation.

  20. yesterday was Aaliyah 37birthday to the good music February 23, 2016
