Enjoyable, but at this junction we’re ready for that undeniable rollercoaster of a track. That all-important song that just demands attention.
As smart as it’s been to warm the masses up with multiple morsels of the album, it’s important that she brings the hyper heat soon. For new artists in today’s crowded market, there’s a relatively small window to have that mainstream break-out moment, hence it’s imperative to strike while the iron is hot.
That said, it’s anyone’s guess if “Top 40” was ever the desired destination for Ms. Kachingwe. Perhaps, she’s content playing in this alt-R&B lane and wants to grow there.
We hope there’s a broader goal, because there are new names with as much potential as she has.
She has yet to serve a fire track like she did last era with 2on and Hands on deck.. Don’t get me wrong the song is alright but doesn’t stand out and is very forgettable.
& she wants to be CiCi and RiRi so bad ? I can’t with her somtimes.

Meh. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing special. I’ve been waiting for tinashe to drop her “breakout” song, but she’s still bringing these underwhelming songs that won’t last. I wouldn’t say I’m a fan, but I am rooting for her. Come harder tinashe, this ain’t it girl.
I’m trying to root for her but this is last years sound. It’s cue. But that’s all I have. She’s playing it safe. But I understand. She hasn’t had her big break. But tracks like this will not help. She needs to get up with some better writers. I think with a massive team she can be the next big thing. She has the vocal capability, she can dance, and she isn’t hard to look at at all.
Tinashe knows what she’s doing and I will defend her like I always have in a mature manner without throwing shade at other artists. She doesn’t need to do anything that will take off course with her sound. There are high expectations for this album to be a success and I understand but she knows what’s best for her as an artist. I know this new album will have more people get the opportunity to know who she is as an artist. Until the album arrives we will see what will be the next potential hit single. As of right now let Queen do her thing because regardless she SLAYS.

It rubs the true lovers / supoorters of musical performers the wrong way. 2). It rids the new artist the time it takes to building their performance identity and organics/ true audience. 3). It gives off a sense of entitlement. This song ft Chris brown (instead of player) could have been a door first single.
