In what appears to be another episode of “Somebody Pissed in Elton John‘s Cereal,” the piano-tickling legend wasn’t exactly in a laughing mood when quizzed on his thoughts on one of music’s most celebrated stageblazers – Janet Jackson.
Slamming the songstress with claims of lip-syncing, similar to those he hurled at her fellow pop queen Madonna years ago, John went all the way in and off on Jackson in his recent sit down with Rolling Stone magazine.
The reports already have JanFans in a furor, many of whom have taken to Twitter to speak out against the ever-outspoken ‘Tiny Dancer’ divo. Did you miss any of the action? It awaits below:

Didn’t he praise her back in 1999 when they did that duet? It seems like he’s jealous. I actually went to Janet’s show last year and it was SO much fun and her album is amazing! And more tea, most of that show was not lipped! Even some of her fast numbers weren’t lipped. Janet really isn’t bothering a damn soul, but gets attacked. For what? Making people happy and proving haters wrong? Her song The Great Forever is for people like Wendy Williams and Elton John who bash her for no reason.

Top of that I have been to the Unbreakable Tour, full of energy and classics being performed ! (@Wendy ass) and there are great majority of LIVE vocals. So what Janet lips, hell with all that dancing ain’t easy for someone her age. Even Michael had to lip along with Madonna when you are well known for dancing, especially for 2 straight hours !

Um, what?! Sitting behind a piano and singing live, while you’re playing is not something that “anybody” can do. I can’t believe someone would be shallow enough to even say that. “Intense choreography” in place of live singing is usually something that pop stars do as a crutch to cover up for their limited ability to sing and play instruments. Anyone who had the talent to sing and play the piano exceptionally well would NOT trade that for military choreography, pyrotechnics and other on stage distractions.

Elton’s bitterness and jealousy is obviously getting the best of him! Janet’s been known to sing along (live) with pre-recorded vocals for some time now, so it’s not even worth entertaining a debate on this. Call me when this wide, 30-pound gaining every month, overrated diva learn a thing or 2 about incorporating intricate choreography in his shows or building up the stamina to deliver high-energy level performances for 2-3 hours. Janet does her fair share of live singing, but she’s quite busy doing what’s expected of her … which is working a stage in ways Elton can only in his sleep.
Janet only lips when she’s dancing her @ss off. People need to know that there is a ful rang of artist. Janet always been dance performer. No one ask for top level vocals. Just like no one ask you Madam John to do a full 16 count on stage. Janet is one of a kind, no one can put on a show like her. …and the thing that disturbs me about this entire situation is Janet bothers no one! She puts out her product, tours and goes back into her cocoon. The only beef she had was with Madonna over 20 years ago. I hope Elton realizes his tantrums hurt people’s feelings, especially when you’ve had a working relationship with the person. If the show is entertaining then its good. Mariah has the worst concerts and Whitney was having trouble all 00’s why because once their voices were bad they really couldn’t put on a good show.
