Kanye West‘s TIDAL streaming figures for his latest LP ‘The Life of Pablo’ have surfaced…and they’re set to spark quite the debate.

Ready to see how TIDAL says he’s faring?

The streaming service  claims ‘Life’ was streamed 250 million times within the first ten days of its release, spelling major success for the Hip-Hop effort.

Why? It was a Tidal exclusive.

David Bakula, senior vice president of insight at Nielsen Music shared:

It’s a really good number, and it’s even more impressive that it’s only in one place. There’s a lot of services that can stream audio, but there’s only place where you get this album and that’s Tidal. That’s how it differentiates itself. Kanye being outspoken and being Kanye helps get it there, but it doesn’t make it without being a quality album.

The good news arrived after TIDAL revealed it had pulled in over 3 million subscribers around the world since its March 2015 arrival.

PS congratz on the 3m subscribers. So many called Tidal a FLOP yet its slowly gaining momentum. Tidal had over 500k subs when Jay bought it. Now they’re at 3 million!! Like I said Jay-Z should not sell Tidal! Spotify took year’s to gain its momentum and same with Apple.

Gurrrl was that suppose to be shade? The fact it’s been a year since he re-launched it and gained 2 million subscribers is impressive. Spotify gained 1 million paid subscribers in the first year they made a paid subscription option. Stop trying to downplay Tidals success. Its doing fine. Especially for a streaming service thag doesn’t allow a free streaming option.

Tidal noone respects or believe you anymore. Ever since you lied about Rihanna’s numbers not once but twice your company has become persona non grata

Congrats! I thought last year it was at 1 mil? Now it is 3 mil? Pretty impressive though, since there’s a lot of competition from other streaming service.
