Nicki Minaj‘s third studio set ‘The Pinkprint’ may sit 15th months away from its December 2014 release but its run on a commercial front is far from over.
Hurt by a lazy campaign on an international front, the project’s international sales are yet to impress, but that’s done little to disturb the moves its singles have been making in her domestic market.

As her debut ‘Pink Friday‘ continues to outperform Rihanna‘s ‘Loud’ in the market, Minaj’s ‘Print’ has welcomed several new certifications.
One of these is the Triple Platinum award picked up by her Hip-Hop effort ‘Only’ which has moved over 3,000,000 units and, according to the Recording Industry Association of America‘s current records, is outperforming her raunchy cut ‘Anaconda’ which reached the 2,000,000 units sold milestone weeks after its official release.

The songs’ aforementioned parent LP has now been certified 2x Platinum after going it was certified Gold two months after its December 12th 2014 arrival.
Of course, this does pale in comparison to the 1 million units ‘Friday‘ sold within its first month in 2010, but does it see it outdo efforts made by her poorly received second album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ which spawned the single ‘Starships‘ which has sold over 6 million units in the U.S. and over 7.2 million units worldwide.
It seems, despite a number of missed opportunities in foreign markets, Minaj continues to stand tall as one of entertainment’s fastest-selling stars.
