Lil Kim wants you to know that she can sing…and that she uses auto-tune.
In fact, according to her, she’s been using it since her second album, “The Notorious K.I.M.” Speaking to Rolling Stone, the “Jump Off” rapper dished on making her “Lil Kim Season” mixtape and whether or not she plays the cut for her daughter.

When asked if she sings now more than she used to:
“Everyone needs to go back and remember my older music. I even used Auto-Tune back when no one even was touching it – I used it on The Notorious K.I.M., on a song called “I’m Human.” I sang on all my albums; this is nothing new to me. It’s just that people haven’t heard from me in a while, so they only remember most of the singles that were put out. People need to remember how different every song I put out [was]. “Kitty Box” sounds like something that would be out now. I was ahead of my time, all the time.”
When asked about the recording process for “Lil Kim Season”:
“We kind of decided at the last minute – we had around two weeks to finish it. When we started a couple songs that we put out, like the “Panda” record, we were like, “Oh, gosh, let’s just finish it.” We kind of had an idea, but we didn’t know when we wanted drop it.”
On whether or not her daughter plays it:
“Some songs she already knew because she hears them on the radio and heard them in the house when we were playing it. If I put on a beat that she likes, we automatically know – she starts bobbing her head.”

“No matter what they say”
Even “how many licks” was pop for 99-00 when u had the lox, rah digga, redman etc

I love Queen Bee but she is done. I’ll just focus on Iggy & Nicki as far as female rap goes cause Kim ain’t gonna come back & kill it like i wanted her to.

Who cares who used auto tune and when, That’s nothing to brag about. I love kim. She’ll always be the Queen. She was the first and you can’t take that from her.
People used auto tune before 2000. There was a # 1 song before this albums release that heavily used it. Who knows which song? 5 points…
And zapp and roger was the 1st to do it before anyone
