Drake‘s ‘VIEWS’ is proving to be the thorn in many a Pop purveyor’s side.

Find out why below…

The album has returned to #1 on the Billboard 200 while its lead single ‘One Dance‘ has returned to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the highest-charting artist in the U.S. this week.

Set to rattle the feathers of Justin Timberlake devotees, ‘Dance’s return comes after it was dethroned by the ‘Cry Me a River’ singer’s latest single ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling.’

1. Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla – “One Dance”
2. Desiigner – “Panda”
3. Justin Timberlake – “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!”
4. Lukas Graham – “7 Years”
5. Fifth Harmony feat. Ty Dolla $ign – “Work from Home”
6. The Chainsmokers feat. Days – “Don’t Let Me Down”
7. Mike Posner – “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”
8. Rihanna feat. Drake – “Work”
9. Zayn – “Pillowtalk”

That Justin song is absolute trash. So glad one dance snatched it’s wig back.

  2. Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? May 24, 2016

Congrats Drizz, I’m just glad that Michael Jackson wannabe Justin Timberlake got knocked down.

  3. King B May 24, 2016

Didn’t know Pillowtalk is still in the top 10.

  4. IStan4Rihanna. May 24, 2016

Rihanna and Drake are completely dominating the Top 25.

    .

    *TEARS*.

  5. wrosy3 May 24, 2016

Good for drake I’m very happy it dethroned that song people trying to make the song of the summer mess look at work still in top ten and needed me come through rih rih glad bey still selling her album well too

  6. Taylor swifts number 1 fan!!! May 24, 2016

Yes, that Lukas graham song is staying around! Big staying power. It’s sold 1.6 million in digital sales in the state, More than Rihanna’s work who spent 9 weeks at number 1.. Which shows how much a joke the in the way the charts are made up.

    • Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? May 24, 2016

Streaming plays a big part in why a lot of songs are charting.

    • IStan4Rihanna. May 24, 2016

      What’s your point?

      .

There have only been three sings to pass the “2 Million Sold – Threshold” this entire year and they are ‘Hello, Sorry and Love Yourself’ whereas ‘WORK’ has sold 1.5 Million stateside – the majority of other sings are barely scanning platinum today. This would have never been the case three-to-five years ago when the DIGITAL SALES ERA was still at its apex and streaming hadn’t yet dominated.
      .
We are in the ‘STREAMING’ era now and ‘WORK’ has already broken U.S/WW records on that front.

      .

      Go to school.

      • TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!!! May 24, 2016

Work has broken records? But like you said we’ve only just came into the streaming era.. Hardly a big deal to break a record… She won’t hold the record for long…

My point is the chart should be sales only! Then the songs which people have bought.. Will be at the top… Like the lukas graham song.. Which deserved at least one week at number 1, and in a different era would have been. When a song which hasn’t been number 1, outsells that of a song which has been number 9 weeks at number 1.. You know the charts are a joke.

      • coockiness May 24, 2016

And not only that, but you remember when Rihanna was dominating the sales in digital singles, and everyone had a problem with. Now that she along with the rest of the WORLD has moved on to streaming they now criticizing her for not dominating digital single sales. and most of the people who do criticize her have a Tidal, apple music, Pandora and spotify account where they stream their favorite artist music along with rihanna.

      • Rihboy May 24, 2016

Why shouldn’t streaming be considered? You sound foolish. Streaming means that it’s on continuous rotation and selection by the masses. Regardless of sale the demand is there. So I believe that a combination of sales and streaming is fair. Lukas may have had great sales, but nobody probably cared to stream him or listen to him at a party, while cleaning, on the way to work, or on the way to a turn up; exercising. You guys try hard to discredit certain artist, I like the song 7 years. But I don’t have the edge to listen to it over and over for any occasion. If it comes on on the radio I may listen. But it’s not my style of music. So mass consumption should ultimately rule.

      • Rihboy May 24, 2016

Bad blood? Whose talking about bad blood? That song was released long ago. It’s not collecting sales now which is why it’s not tracking on iTunes. E dry song has its time period. However Rihanna is being massively streamed and her radio pick up is massive as well. Which is why with sales of 1.5 million she is able to chart like at the top. DEMAND is high do to the combination of sales/stream/radio. Which is what I’m trying to get you to understand. At this point any black person holding the top spot and achieving such chart achievements is worthy of praise. Because the pale ones can easily chart with their genetic poppy nonsense. Or their depressing lullabies. So I don’t really feel like debating,

      • Rihboy May 24, 2016

Bad blood was made for teeny boppers and children and adults. It’s generic at best and appeases to all audiences. Work was made first for Caribbean descents. Because nobody could or probably still could understand but those who are native to the islands like myself; what is being said in the song. Furthermore it was more like for the21+ crowd. In no way was work a single Rihanna put out for all age ranges or all mass consumption. Conclusively it did extremely well for a song that everyone claimed was a flop and was gibberish . Demand and power. You guys claimed it was babble the whole song yet it still managed to top the charts for 9 weeks and is still I. The top 10. If that isn’t major than I don’t know what is.

      • TAYLOR SWIFTS NUMBER 1 FAN!!!! May 24, 2016

I was replying to someone else when I mentioned bad blood. That song was bought up by someone else
I don’t know why you’re bring race into this.. What’s that got to do with anything? Why call white people, the pale ones? That’s offensive isn’t it? You have a chip on your shoulder unfortunately.

    • wrosy3 May 24, 2016

Look here I’m not going to allow you trolls to come for bey and rih I’m talking about adele gaga and Taylor it’s not going to be like that yall against these two women on top

    • Keri Qween May 24, 2016

The joke is Taylors basic overrated Kids Bop music. Pressed because Work had longevity on sales front and streaming while songs like Bad Blood spent one week at #1 after massive promo.

      • Taylor swifts number 1 fan!!! May 24, 2016

But work hasn’t had great sales… That’s the whole point. A song which was number 1 for 9 weeks should have sold 3 or 4 million.. And bad blood sold way more than 1.5million in the states…

    • Taylor swifts number 1 fan!!! May 24, 2016

Because 7 years isn’t made for teens like work is… It’s way more thought provoking. It appeals to a older age group and therefore, will be more bought.. Rather than streamed.

People only stream music, because they don’t wanna pay for it. It’s free.. Music shouldnt be free.. It devalues it.

  7. HailBeysus May 24, 2016

    Congrats Drake!

  8. ThatMessJuice.Flop May 24, 2016

I like the song surprisingly. Riri doing well too…currently Drake and Riri are the best selling musicians in the world. Interestingly Beyonce has dropped to fifth already below Justin and Adele. interesting that Beyonce can’t get a hit…unfortunately ppl don’t remember albums they remember songs. And this current album is so dry I’m not sure what the strategy was from her.

    • BEYICON May 24, 2016

      Streaming*…. They cant sell s***!

    • No Stan Zone May 24, 2016

Don’t remember albums? You’re joking right? Lol! How many number one singles did Prince have? Oh ok. We remember his albums.

  9. HailBeysus May 24, 2016

Lmfao!!! People don’t remember album’s??? The things the Slavi tell themselves to sleep.

  10. nico May 24, 2016

The problem with beyonce she doesn’t put something on her vevo channel sorry formation hold just why ?…… I understand she is exclusive to tidal she dont gonna give her songs to Apple Spotify but she need some promotion too she dont give a f*** about her singles it’s so clear lol

  11. Robert May 24, 2016

Beyonce thinks she’s above the music industry, believe too much her own hype. She’s overhyped, overrated and annoying

    • Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? May 24, 2016

What does Beyoncé have to do with this post? ?

      • LOL May 24, 2016

LOL SHE’S SUPPOSED TO BE THE QUEEN, YET SHE NEVER APPEARS ON BEST SELLING LISTS LMAO.

    • Rihboy May 24, 2016

Which is why her singles are free falling. And why lemonade a buzz has been swapped. She puts on the forefront someone else’s work to cute beats, and think because of her name; it will carry. But I’m even in shock at how little this album did. The only thing the hive have to run with is that it made a spectacle in its evident propaganda driven motive. The fake infidelity. The fake maybe we will get divorced. The wool over their eyes are thick. Rihanna’s real mess is too much to handle because nothing she has released had a gimmic or motive behind it. She just releases HER true self.

      • Rihboy May 24, 2016

        Realness

  12. Ty May 24, 2016

if Beyonce is not going to promote her singles she could atleast put her album of tidal exclusive. She selling more than drake in pure sales but his streams are higher than hers

    • Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? May 24, 2016

      Sales > Streams

    • SMH May 24, 2016

Wrong. Drake has already crossed 1 million in pure sales. Beyonce hasn’t.

      • Danny Bey May 24, 2016

She said “selling” more, not sold more. Meaning she is currently selling more copies than Drake. Drake has already reached 1 million cuz of his big first week sales but since then it’s been declining on the sales tip. Hence why Lemonade has been higher than Views on iTunes for the past week or so. It’s currently #2 while Views is #3.

  13. #JACKIE May 24, 2016

    Damn Beyonce flops

  14. Stephon Jackson May 24, 2016

The highest selling album or single in the country, should be the #1 LP or Song in the country, period. Streaming is a joke. I don’t care what y’all say. They trying so hard to help these artist not seem like flops, whom appeals to a bunch of broke ass teenagers/college students.

    • Alex May 24, 2016

Doesn’t streaming get supported by advertisers which in turn allow the streaming to send royalties to the artist? Just like radio? They’ve always measured radio airplay why not streaming?

    • coockiness May 24, 2016

that’s a pretty backward way of viewing things. the music industry has changed and is continuing to change. If we are now consuming music differently than before should that not be included in the chart position of said album or single?

years ago the only way for you get a song you liked from an album was to buy the entire album and the we got digital singles. now we can listen to music on demand while paying a service charge for streaming that music. So it’s only rational for people to gravitate to streaming.

And i notice people only have a problem with streaming when its another artist. So see beyonce fans quoting her first week sales with streams included to the point where i honestly thought she sold 600k in pure sales before i did a little research. while the criticize rihanna. and also notice that for favs aren’t pulling the songs from streaming services, the only ones who have done that thus far is taylor and adele

  15. Coolness May 24, 2016

I like JT but that Can’t Stop The Feeling Song is not my taste. This is his weakest chart topper to date and I’m not surprised it had such a huge debut only to drop by two spots a week after on the charts. Reminds me of Pillowtalk, tbh. Congrats to Drake. I’ve come to enjoy even though I’ll probably always feel Hotline Bling was his #1 that got away.

    • What Now May 24, 2016

      I agree

      • Annalise May 24, 2016

        I agree too EBOOOOLA-LAMB !

  16. killian May 24, 2016

Beyonce’s album sales trumps drake’s – Billboard just corny with that streams greater than sales mess.Congrats Drake though on singles front and Riri you go girl. Beyonce you’re great but a little traditional promotion wouldn’t hurt.

    • LOL May 24, 2016

      LMAO OH REALLY?

      VIEWS TOTAL SALES: 1,109,316

      KOOLAID TOTAL SALES: 926,453

AND THAT’S PURE SALES, NOT STREAMS, ALTHOUGH DRAKE IS SCALPING HER IN STREAMS TOO LMAO.

  17. LB May 24, 2016

Isn’t someone missing on that list???

  18. Cinnamon Girl May 24, 2016

SCREAMING!!! Where’s Beyawnce?! Slip sliding away! LMAO!!!

  19. Keri Qween May 24, 2016

  20. No favs, just here for the music May 24, 2016

Congratulations to Drake! I’m so happy for him

  21. whenindoubtthetruthwillout May 24, 2016

    Hold on a minute!

I thought Beyonce was “battling” Drake for the number one spot? If Drake “dominates” the charts then how is that a battle?

This gossip site keeps on contradicting itself!!!

This site is getting more like a really bad high school newsletter!!!!

  22. LOL May 24, 2016

LMAO POOR KOOLAID. DRAKE GOT THAT H0 RUNNING BACK TO HER PIMP/HUSBAND TO RECORD AN ALBUM JUST TO KEEP UP LMAO.

    #RIPKOOLAID

    #FLOPLIKEBEYONCE

  23. King Mark111 /.\ May 24, 2016

    Where’s the Lemonade songs?

  24. DIABETIC STROKE May 24, 2016

Lemonade sold pretty close to 1 mill by now within its full first month. Bey still markets herself (i have no idea why) as a Urban/R&B act. Rap clearly sells more in this day and age yet they are NECK & NECK in the hindsight of things. Bey is still outselling everyone (including drake & ofcourse rihanna) this year US UK & WW calculating everything including price. lemonade will easily go dbl plat unlike drake. Nobody wants to discect 20 so so songs. Tho i admit Lemonade not beys best work either. 4 self titled & Dil way better

  25. Reddish tran ivy blokz Need UK timely May 25, 2016

Damn some of yall worry about the song lemonade. Congrats to Drake for being number one
