With just days to go before Celine Dion is honored with the Icon Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, the superstar singer sat down with Nightline to discuss the piercing loss of her husband.
Rene Angelil, who also served as her career-long manager, died five months ago following a hard-fought battle with throat cancer.
Hailed as a titan of talent, Dion has had to serve as a tower of strength for the couple’s three children – all the while coming to terms with his death herself.
In a revealing interview, the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ belter tells all.

And she was an adult when they started dating. They went on to get married and remained so for over 20 years, separated by his death. Point? I don’t care when they met. You can see the pain in her face but she had the chance to process the fact that he was going to die. I lost the love of my life too but I wasn’t ready, those are the deaths that hurt the most because you’re not expecting it. God bless her and her children, she’s such a beautiful person.

People have to open their eyes when it comes to cancer though. Meat full of hormones, milk, dairy and eggs are killing us the way tehy are produced. Us and the planet. People need to get educated. of course establichment and companies don´t want that. They are having their profits from people´s ignorance.
At least Celine and Rene had a real relationship that endured. Mariah’s ho-ass was sucking Tommy’s already married d*** for career opportunity and after she broke up his marriage schemed to become his wife just to keep her status at the company.
