The judge overseeing the late singer’s estate has given permission for his DNA to be used as parentage issues are expected to rise during the division of his wealth.
In 1996, he suffered the loss of a son who died days after his birth and the supposed absence of a will has seen six of the entertainer’s siblings or half-siblings named heirs.
His cause of death is yet to be revealed.

I’m still in shock, like Kate Bush said when Bowie passed away, it’s juts hard to imagine that someone who had already transcended into immortality could actually die, the same will happen with people like Madonna and Paul McCartney, it just surreal.
I’m really surprised he doesn’t have any, seeing out wild he was back in the day. I’ll say this, Prince was respected because his style and sound was original. But his music, or his classics I should say, are very dated. Nothing wrong with that, but his music isn’t as timeless as MJ’s.
I think you’re confusing mainstream popular songs with the word “timeless”, I know plenty of indie cult songs that are timeless, of course not remembered by the gp but are cult songs nonetheless for its audience, although Prince was able to make popular songs, see (Kiss, Little Red Corvette…) he chose not to, which I’m happy about it, the man discography might not be as popular as MJ’s one but is way more praised in the music world, and rightfully so, the man was a musical genius that transcended popularity and radio friendly songs.

Nobody said his songs weren’t timeless, just that most Prince songs make MJ songs sound like Katy Perry’s songs, btw, the most revered and famous discography in the music world belongs to The Beatles, enough said.

I don’t mean for this to be a stan war. To me timeless is when you can’t put a time stamp on a song. It doesn’t sound dated, it sounds just as great as the day it was released. Prince music sound VERY 80s and his 90’s/later music didn’t have any effect on me or the GP. He’s respected, but I think he didn’t have the impact as his peers (MJ, Janet, Whitney, even Madonna) on pop music.
That’s what all of you want to believe, even the genius that was Prince was influenced by the Beatles, see, Raspberry Beret.

Again you’re confusing this time popularity with being influential, Prince is arguably one of the most influential artists of the past century, his impact in popular culture is unparalleled, from fashion to music, when you see the color purple, you think of Prince, he’s iconic in the same way Madonna and MJ are.
He and MJ were nothing alike artistically so I don’t get the comparison.Unless you’re unfamiliar with his discography but his best tracks are as timeless as timeless can get.Some of the stuff he did in the early 80s sound exactly like what Maxwell,Miguel & Frank Ocean and the likes did in the 00s & 10s but of better quality
I didn’t compare them, I just stated TO ME his music was very dated. And I don’t care for any of the artist you named. Miguel last album had a few good songs, but their music is boring and not my cup of tea.
Anyone claiming Prince songs sound superior to Jackson’s probably has hearing difficulty or doesn’t understand quality. MJ worked with the best, he didn’t think he was the best unlike Prince’s apparent attitude. Play Billie Jean next to When Doves Cry or Thriller next to 1999 and the difference in engineering and production destroys Prince’s music quite severely. MJ’s catalogue hasn’t aged. True some styles are outdated but his standards remain the highest reference point for any artists in singing, dancing, songwriting, production, videos, staging you name it. At base level despite having an amazing range Prince wasn’t half the singer Jackson was (climax of Earth Song etc) neither was his musicianship better than the plethora of artists Jackson worked with from Slash to the Seawind Horns.
Any day, MJ >>> Prince and their James Brown convergence help prove who the greater artist was.
