Watch: Piers Morgan Blasts Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ On ‘Wendy’

Beyonce‘s truth-baring ‘Lemonade’ left a satisfying taste in the mouths and minds of the masses.

However for journalist Piers Morgan it’s the polar opposite.

The Daily Mail’s Editor-At-Large has made no secret of his dislike for Queen Bey’s ‘Formation,’ hence it’s little surprise that he’s sounding off about its parent album.

During a sit-down interview on ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ today, the Brit critiqued the singer for (what he feels) was a deliberate commoditisation of her “blackness” as well as that of  mothers such as Trayvon Martin‘s.

    • Nahhh May 12, 2016

Two trash boxes. How he gon say he don’t think somebody on Beyonce platform should be talking about political issues? EVERYBODY SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT POLITICAL ISSUES WHEN BLACK PEOPLE CONTINUE TO DIE UNNOTICED BY POLICE EVERYDAY. Then the cracker turns around and says he finds Donald trump refreshing I can’t

      • Nahhh May 12, 2016

Beyoncé is a lost cause if she doesn’t open her mouth and say a damn thing the black community seething on her being a sell out. When she does she’s using it to gain attention, Then you have the white people who only want her to be an entertainer so she can be their shake that ass product. Instead of focusing on the treason of why we need to focus on actual issues at hand.

  8. Jackson 5 Nostrils (Tyler) May 12, 2016

When Beyonce was singing about Halo’s and Single Ladies White America loved her.
Now that she’s trying to bring awareness to a REAL issues like police brutality, they dont

  9. LmfaoHoe May 12, 2016

He’s full of s***. Damn if she don’t and damn if she do, you just can’t please everybody. In Beys on words/lyrics “I’m a grown woman, I can do whatever I want ” who the f*** is he or anyone for that matter to tell her she shouldn’t so such n such. MJ did it (Heal the World, Man in the mirror, They Don’t Care about us) Janet’s Rhythm Nation, Marvin Gayes What’s Going On, Stevie Wonder Songs in the key of life, Prince Sign of the times, D Angelo Black Messiah. Like gtfh with your lamest bitter ass then have the nerve to stan for Trump.

  10. Jackson 5 Nostrils (Tyler) May 12, 2016

I love the message behind Formation. I loved her half time show performance too.
#alllivesmatter it just seems the #blacklives are taken more.

  11. truthtea May 12, 2016

I am so sick of people pulling the race card everytime a white person doesn’t agree with some a person of color does. He’s entitled to his opinion. He has made it clear he prefers old Beyonce. I am sooooo sick of Beyonce’s fans attacking people for having an opinion that doesn’t reflect theirs. The Beyonce I like and prefer is the one who didn’t need to pull all of these antics and gimmicks just to sell. That’s how Piers Morgan feels as well.

    • Jackson 5 Nostrils (Tyler) May 12, 2016

B**** what race card ? This is racism in its purest form. This is people being mad that BEYONCE is bringing awareness to black lives matter. This is about beyonce not being a good house negro. It’s bigger than anything the beyhive has ever dealt with.

    • LmfaoHoe May 12, 2016

He prefers old Beyonce because to them she was silent on corruption, injustice, and the murdering of innocent people. They love you when your mute, but soon as you have a mind of your own they just won’t leave you alone.

    • HailBeysus May 12, 2016

      (MyFamoussssCiaraVoice) MathuFuckin’TTT closeted Supremacist’TTT!!! Get’TTT him BeyHive!!!

    • Andycandy May 13, 2016

You can be entitled to your opinion, however, his opinion on WHY he prefers old Bey is the problem at hand. Beyoncé at the time she had the interview with him, probably wanted to remain neutral on political issues and race issues because of the fan base she has access to. In 2009 when I am Sacha Fierce came out, African Americans were calling her a sell out and too white. Since that album, I feel Beyoncé has grown tremendously. The proof is in her art. It’s funny that the people who has the most to say about her has probably never been to a concert, listened to a whole album or invested effort into looking at what she does for the community, which is a hell of a lot. I digress. The minute Beyoncé released Formation, a song embracing her blackness and the black culture it became a problem. She was just trying to get attention, she’s bashing the cops ect. Beyoncé is just growing as an artist. It’s unfortunate that there is so much negative attention around Lemonade when it has such a strong and powerful message, and the music is phenomenal. On this album, she gives you hollering ballads, amazing background vocals, the instrumentation…, she gives you various genres…Snatch my wig with Alternative, Country, Rapping, Reggae, it’s just epic and that throat is maturing also. It’s just becoming more raw and I love it. Beyoncé keep twirling on your haters because real people see you for the hard work that you put into your artistry, and you are being a light and inspiration for so many people. Keep doing you, being humble and gracious always, and snatching wigs.

Now for all the haters…tell me somebody in the game that’s f***** with Bey…ill wait. Who is releasing albums movies….on HBO? Who then releases their album exclusively to their husbands business for 48 to make folk get Tidal? Y’ all folks sleep, this woman is brilliant. People can try to say she’s not intelligent which has been proven to not be true time and time again but that’s what a hater will do. Hate. People who always find the bad things to say about her and never have anything good to say, they are haters. Because even if they didn’t like one thing there are a million other things that you could commend her on. Her work ethic and commitment to her craft is unbelievable. She doesn’t just wake up go on stage and slay full chreography effortlessly without putting in the work to get there. I could go on and on. I am passionate about her because I see her grind, she worked her whole life to get to where she is. She deserves it. This has been her dream and now she is living it so just fall back off her and let her live. Never mind, If they not talking about you always, you not poppin. ??✌?️Learn from her…lol I’m done. Y’all be blessed now. ??????????????

  12. Lmfao_Hoe May 12, 2016

I said before and I’ll say it again. If “They” went after MJ, Prince, Janet, Whitney and Mariah what makes you think they not gonna try to come after Beyonce eventually? Obama’s 2nd inauguration was a SIGN of this coming, along with her snippet before ” Bow Down/ I Been On ” then of course ” Formation ” had white media in a f****** frenzy wanna boycott n s***. Also notice how (white) radio stations weren’t and still arent playing Beys songs on the radio besides Urban only since 2011 – til now 16. PAY ATTENTION

    • Jackson 5 Nostrils (Tyler) May 12, 2016

Are you rihtarded? He clearly just said that he liked her BEFORE she started talking about problack radicalism

    • RihRih May 12, 2016

Artist EVOLVE, as do everyone else, spiritually, mentally, and so on “As i’m sure you have throughout your life”. Is the same not suppose to happen to Beyonce, my goodness.

  16. rosy3 May 12, 2016

Wendy Williams is azalea banks 5.0 with a talk show she puts people on who hates black’s her and azalea have issues with Beyonce and Rihanna today was bey and Jay tomorrow will be Rihanna she is a pathetic human being you can see the jealousy comes out of her when she talks about black women she laughs at their failures but praise Miley bad behaviour Wendy is paid by Fox she under cover Donald trump supporter

    • RihRih May 12, 2016

Say that again, exactly! I can’t stand that b****.

  17. dydy972 May 12, 2016

I don’t like this man since the moment he wrote on his article that he prefers the beyoncé who is just an entertainer. Ya’ll love her when she shakes her booty and make you sweat dancing on her songs, but ya’ll don’t like when she opens her mouth to say the truth of people’s struggles.

Funny coming from Piers morgan , the same person who asked beyoncé in an interview in 2011 what was her point of view on obama, his politics, the evolution of black history and the financial crisis.

Dislike them both. That garbage Wendy will come one day face to face with hers, so she will not be the one that will have the last laugh(ters). Trash both of them. Losers.

  19. rosy3 May 12, 2016

Karma will get Wendy I’m not a kardashian fan but she sits there laugh at these people issues it’s beyond sick what grown woman do this and call it hot topic’s she never say a good thing about a black person accomplishment I was floored when this woman said no man will wife Rihanna because she a holler back girl how did wendy get a husband when she had 8 abortions a crack head suck biggie d*** her husband sleeps with transgenders she is bias Wendy sat there and praise Kate Hudson for sleeping around how the f*** wendy know rih want to marry these men she dates no one goes on her show that’s why all week it’s hot topics this ex crack pot can’t book anyone of relevance

  20. Coolness May 12, 2016

A White man trying to police Beyonce, a Black woman and artist, on speaking out against and enlightening others on the injustices of her fellow Black people. Racist POS needs to gtfoh with that. Next.

  21. Royalkev May 12, 2016

Wendy may have provoked Piers to speak out against Beyonce (this time), but his point of views on Yonce seems to be something he’s campaigning around lately. It seems like he has something personal against Beyonce now! Many folks have wondered where she stands on certain issues for so long and now that Bey’s speaking her mind (thanks Solange), it’s too intimidating for some to handle! Bey’s artistry has really developed and what she wanted to highlight was deliberate! Imo, she’s delivered her most stimulating work ever and it seems to be met with disdain from people that feel uncomfortable about topics she’s touching on! They’d like Bey to take a few steps backwards and ignore the world around her! Even if ‘Lemonade’/’Formation’ is not your cup on tea, you have to respect Bey’s growth! Let Bey have a position on things that she doesn’t agree with without UNFAIR judgement or censorship.

I personally feel that Beyonce has the most strangest hate! Whitney, Janet and Mariah were adored until the time came around where it fit in an agenda to downplay their impact! Beyonce’s hate isn’t quite the same, it’s more like MJ’s! Folks are a little aggressive with her! Truth be told, radio has banned her before ‘Formation’ came along (like someone else stated), it started with ‘4’! There was no particular reason behind it! Bey can earn big views on Youtube and sell songs easily on Itunes (reaching up to triple platinum status recently) , but she WON’T receive the same support her peers do (everyone from Katy Perry to those that came out around the time Bey did, like: Pink/Justin/Britney). What bothers a lot of people is that Beyonce doesn’t rely on radio in order to obtain her success! What’s also odd is seeing every little thing Bey does turn into something controversial! There’s honestly a lot that fits into this equation, but to sum it all up, Beyonce’s been dealt with this way because she poses a serious threat! History has shown what artists like her are still capable of when facing opposition. Just like MJ (in the 90s), Bey’s still on top of her game and that’s what’s make it harder to fade her! I personally don’t care for her to give this industry more than 10 more years! Tops! By that time numbers WILL LIE and I don’t need anyone fixing hers! Let these people have it! Move on to a different chapter in life (where the politics won’t come into play the way they do now). Book, movie projects and much more can really expose things… but it’s all about timing! I really believe after all this, Bey’s voice will continue to be heard in a much more powerful way!

      Excuse the errors…

  22. black heart people May 12, 2016

Black people have black hearts they want people to forgive them for their wrong doing and wrong behavior. .but will never leave the past in the past ..hate full mind will never go away

    • Jackson 5 Nostrils (Tyler) May 12, 2016

      What wrong doings ?
As a whole, what have black people done to anyone else? Did we enslave an entire race for over 375 years ? Did we create a system to prevent another race from gaining equal social and economic footing in society ?
No, so WTF are you talking about ?

  23. Thebaddest May 13, 2016

Hey Black Heart shut your half brain ass up, and so do white people and the only reason why your mad is because black people are about to take over… lol anyway Wendy can beat it too all we have to do is remind her of that Aaliyah movie she produced smh.
