The past few weeks have just been brimming with new music for Urban/pop fans.
Kicked off by back to back releases from Beyonce and Drake, this week saw the genres’ fanatics lay claim to previously unheard joints from Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, and Alicia Keys.
While Keys and Timberlake are offering their first new tracks after extended absences, Brown and Grande are looking to continue their respective onslaught of radio and singles charts alike. Alicia’s new single is such a BOP! Totally unexpected and I’m loving her musical direction this era.

Alicia’s single is definitely where it’s at! I do like Ari’s new single too. I’ll give JT a pass since this is for a movie soundtrack and not truly representative of his new album. Chris’s song is nice….but I’m honestly over hearing him. He has really oversaturated the airwaves, he needs a break. Maybe take a few years off and go back to acting a little bit.
Justin and Alicia hands down! Those other whippersnappers can have several stadium seats and let the veterans have the floor for a bit!

I enjoyed Alicia’s the most. It blew all of the other singles out the water tbh

As long as Alicia’s single outsells Timberfake’s and Fistopher’s, then that’s truly all that I care about. That woman just released the song of the summer to relaunch the fire in her career, but I’m not even sure she knows how wildly successful the single is gonna be.

Alicia came through this go round. Justin is immediately elimated because the song is for a kids’ movie. Ari never gives great visuals or backing (promo, performances, interviews) for her music. So I’m done with her. Chris’s song sound like every thing he ever puts out. He (like Ari) doesn’t put much backing into his singles. He just releases them and think they will catch steam. Excited to see Alicia perform her single live!!!

Alicia came out of the box hard this go round and she also stepped out of her comfort zone and it’s a great start to this new era. Chris new joint is good too but at this point he’s overexposed. Ariana new joint is basic pop geared toward top 40 nothing to run home about. Justin’s new joint I’ll pass.
Alicia’s song is doing it for me and it’s come hand in had with the good weather which has made it sound even better.
Chris’s song sounds like all of his other songs. Justin is a no and Ariana’s is okay,
but really i could play “in common” on repeat and have the windows open
