Drake has pulled the plug on all meet & greet sessions following the horrific murder of the vocalist Christina Grimmie.

Fans who paid to secure access to the rapper on his forthcoming ‘Summer Sixteen Tour’ have learned that the VIP packages and meet & greet sessions which would have allowed them do so have been pulled.
Announced after the aforementioned Christina was shot by a fan named Kevin Loible as she spoke with supporters earlier this month, Drake’s move sees him stand as one of the first artists to tighten security in response to the murder, and the massacre of club goers at Florida’s Pulse nightclub by Omar Mateen.
Fans who shelled out for VIP package were to get a seat in one of the first five rows as well as a ‘professionally taken individual photo with Drake,’ and goodies including a car freshener, a foam hand, a ‘floaty pen, disposable camera, a candle and an incense holder, according to the Ticketmaster website.

I met JoJo last year at a very small venue and everyone was checked before JoJo was even ushered into the building. I upgraded my ticket for a TLC meet & greet at a much larger venue a couple years ago and there were numerous security checkpoints along the way. There were, however, some mistakes and oversights made and someone could’ve taken advantage of it if they knew what they were doing. Since Drake already promised the meet & greet, I think he should hire more muscle if he needs to and just give the fans what they paid for. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the show if I were a fan and that was taken away from me.
