Drawing inspiration’s from Aaliyah‘s classic ‘4 Page Letter’ video, Keke Palmer takes the concept to new heights with the visual for her latest single ‘Yellow Lights.’

Undoubtedly the triple threat diva’s most talked about offering to date, between the song’s bass heavy thump and the video’s hard-hitting choreography, it’s not hard to see why.

Could this be the release that finally sees Keke lifted to her highest heights on Billboard charts? See her shine in ‘Yellow Lights’ below and tell us:

    She does music? Oh

    • Ughhhh June 15, 2016

The only time Selena has been relevant in music is that time Nicki Minaj mentioned her in a verse. Stop trying to throw shade when your fave rest on Taylor Swift to walk outside with her in order to still be relevant.

      • Selenator June 15, 2016

LOL! Selena’s best selling album was released before she was friends with Taylor and before Nicki’s verse. And lets not act like Selena didn’t help make Nicki appealing to white America by singing Super Bass or didn’t help Bad Blood video blow up with her appearance. She is the Queen of Instagram after all. But get at me when KeKe can pass For You’s success lmao!!

Wow honestly did not expect this from her. It’s actually a really dope thot bop!!! Keke did that ish

  4. ???????Chile, take this “Itty Bitty Piggy” to the market and make sure you hold her hand while crossing the street!??????? June 14, 2016

I really need radio to pick this song up. To be honest, the previous single deserved to chart successfully too. I just don’t understand why the general public isn’t here for her like they were with “Keep It Movin” and “Bottoms Up”.

    Yasss keke that was hot

  6. Jordan June 15, 2016

I love this new sound from you Keke! Keep it up. Can’t wait for the album. I’m glad she’s finally doing her first love. I hope for much success to come her way!

  7. Mark June 15, 2016

This is HOT. TGJ y’all never post about her. She constantly has good new music coming out and she could use the love.

  8. Ant June 15, 2016

    Hot! Get it Keke!

  9. dee.western June 15, 2016

thumbs down, sounds like a combo of Riri, Beyonce, Fantasisa and Ciara.

    • Rihboy June 15, 2016

The style is Rihanna. But ever since the Aliyah thing. I think she has been trying to adopt her sound. But she does sound like a blend of all those people. Too be honest; I believe that’s he has what it takes to become a pop phenom alongside them tho. This was really lit for such a simple video

    Cool song

    I’m absolutely loving this!

  12. cocobutta June 15, 2016

    Why is it so short?
    Song is fire though.
Can defo she and hear a mix of influences but came out hot this track.

  13. Danzou June 15, 2016

Sounds a lot like needed me. Good song but the industry is too political. LUCKILY she has loads of money so she’s able to do what she loves because she’s passionate and that’s really what it’s about.

You guys are basic, this sounds nothing like the other artist mentioned in this post or comments. I like it, she’s so talented, it’s just you have to establish yourself in one field first before you dab in everything. I recall Aaliyah saying that she wanted to establish herself in music first and then enter film with the right movies. Keke is definitely a triple threat tho and it looks like music is pure passion and love. The girl checks all the boxes.

    • ilovemusic June 15, 2016

Agreed. I got KeKe from this no one else. This actually brings me back to a bit more of 90’s urban music and I like it.

  15. Jem June 15, 2016

The girl is basic.com compared to the other pop chicks. Looks basic, lyrics basic and like ability basic. Nobody’s checking for her coz she’s not offering anything unique. Her hustle is admirable tho. Maybe she should stay in her lane and stick to acting. By the way, the video is creepy.

  16. Citi June 15, 2016

She was inspired by Dawn Richards “bombs” video. Choreography was TOO similar.

This track is dope….Tinashe could have used this song to revitalise her struggling asss…

However, KEKE KEKE. Needs to try a new image…..forget compying rihanna she should have tried something more european video wise i.e A video of someone else then she just make a cameo so people focus on the music… Basically a shock tactic of some sort……take inspiration from outside black culutre as the dancing is dated….& the production of the song could have been a bit more piano led…as the drums make it a bit tooo urban in a dated way…as its working for Bryson coz he is new but wont work for her.

Definitely good effort…the song is great however, she just needs creative visual assistance …Badly

How is Tinashe a struggling ass? She’s the most buzzed about new female urban pop artist right now.
Her singles are struggling on the charts but that doesn’t determine a struggling ass during this new era when there is a lot of girls struggling worse.

I’ve always been rooting for Keke. I loved the “Enemiez” music video that yall FAILED to post about minus the acting in it.

Good song but something doesn’t 100% fit right with the dancers and the chorus a bit but I approve!

  19. Kitty Puurrzz June 15, 2016

This JAMZ but it’s R&B so of course Keke won’t chart. What black R&B girl is charting outside of Bey …? & that’s sad.
