So sad what happened to her, she was truly something special. I wonder how big she would’ve become had she not been murdered, especially during the late 90s/early 00s latin craze. Either way congratz baby, you’re a latin icon that will always be loved

Awww thats great. She certainly has made a major impact on American culture and remains culturally relevant still to today. Well deserved.

I am thankful for the Selena movie, because I feel like it showed many of us how wide spread the love for her was. Such a shame her life was cut so short by someone who she once trusted and was so close with.

    R.I.P. Selenas!!!

RIP beautiful. She would have been so huge, she was just breaking in the big leagues when she was murdered.

  4. Coolness June 29, 2016

Aw, this makes me so happy 🙂 I personally wasn’t into her music but she was so charismatic on and off stage. It’s lovely that J.Lo received hers last year and now the lady whom she played on screen in what is now recognised as her break-out role is getting one posthumously. RIP Selena.

I was just watching her concert. She had a BAAAAAAAD body. I mean, thick as hell. And, she could actually sing LIVE too. That’s sad fat ass shot & killed her. All because she was jealous of Selena. RIP

Guys why are you so disrespectful? This woman was murdered and you’re sitting up here talking about her booty. What a class act. SMH

She was beautiful inside and out. ‘Dreaming of you’ and ‘I Could Fall in love’ are still classics. May she rest in peace.

Good for her. I feel so sorry for her and her family. They were so grief stricken when she was killed and still are. Imagine the crowds that’s going to be at her ceremony

This woman was a trail blazer… She was in a league of her own and hasn’t been replaced. Her passing only made her immortal and iconic.
Such a talented witty beauty. That body… She was one of the first girls I was like she’s not thin she’s not fat she’s thick in all the right places.
She loved her Mexican audience and was a true artist at heart and loved her craft.
