As girl groups go, few (if any) get bigger than Destiny’s Child.

It’s not surprising then why Fifth Harmony chose to honor Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyonce on ABC‘s new show ‘Greatest Hits.’

The quintet paid homage to the biggest selling female collective of all-time with a spirited medley of ‘Say My Name,’ ‘Independent Women,’ and ‘Survivor.’

How did they fare? Find out below…

Enjoyable, although some parts did skew a bit ‘Glee.’

Call us nit-picky, but it would have been cool to see more identity in the delivery. For instance, rather “Kelly etc can you handle this?,” it would have hit harder had they sassily called their own names out. It’s the little things, ay?

Still a decent showing with commendable runs and harmonies. A solid nod to an ensemble that paved the way for 5H’s present day success.

  3. Keri Qween July 29, 2016

Destiny’s Child isn’t the best selling girl group. Idk why y’all always put that.

    • Jamie July 29, 2016

One thing for certain is Keri won’t be the best-selling anything. Now go have a seat right beside her. I’m pretty sure there’s room in that car she was previewing those future flops.

      • Keri Qween July 29, 2016

She’s worth $25 million with barely any major activity think about that while you wait for the bus.

    • Jamie July 29, 2016

  5. King B July 29, 2016

Survivor is my fave song by DC! This song is literally a smash for me. And not DC being more relevant right now compare two the other two best selling girl groups. Spotify proves it and now this. Further proves that Diamond album means nothing.

    • Caleb July 31, 2016

Diamond means nothing?? What kind of crap lie is that?

  13. SMH July 29, 2016

Stop trying to rewrite history. TLC and The Spice Girls remain the biggest selling female groups of all time.

    • DOnt M3$$ July 29, 2016

Spice Girls are number 1 actually

  14. Casual-T July 29, 2016

This current crop of girl groups — Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, June’s Diary, whoever else — are barely distinguishable from each other and will ultimately have no impact whatsoever on the music industry.
    .
The Supremes ruled the 60s. TLC ruled the 90s, and Destiny’s Child and then Beyonce ruled the naughts. I think the next girl groups needs to be cast to hit the industry at a 90-degree angle. Key elements — a distinguishing vocal sound or technique, some other style emphasis other than s**, and an awesome set of producers/writers to churn out memorable, hook-filled songs.

  15. Alex July 29, 2016

Last time I checked, Destinys Child is the BEST SELLING GROUP OF ALL TIME!! They received an award for it. Remember, it was the same show when Rihona, usher, Patrick labelle, usher, and many others honored them!! STAY PRESSED! TLC weren’t s*** with they FLAT singing asses. ????

  16. HUMAN July 29, 2016

sam, you can not mention say my name and not mention Letoya Luckett in your DC lineup!

Um…. DC is the third best selling girl group of all time.
    .
    1. Spice Girls
    2. TLC
    3. Destiny’s Child
    .
Although personally I believe The Supremes are the best selling girl group of all time.

  19. Mark111 /.\ July 29, 2016

Anyone with basic math skills would know that there’s no way DC is the highest selling girl group. 1) TLC and Spice Girls have about the same number of albums as DC, but they have albums that sold WAY more. 2) DC wasn’t even active long enought as a group to even get those sales. Most of their sales comes from Writings era. But whatever. 🙂

  20. Selenator *Kills Em With Kindness* July 29, 2016

They should’ve gotten Little Mix, a girl group who is grossing nearly $1 million a show on their tour while 5Flops barely gross 400k

    • lolhart July 29, 2016

Why would they have asked Little Flops when virtually nobody in the US knows who they are? Chart run of Get Weird on the Billboard 200 Albums: #13 > #90 > OUT. Single peaks: Black Magic #67; Love Me Like You, Secret Love Song and Hair – didn’t chart.

  21. The Kpop Guy, Matt~ July 29, 2016

I forgot about the savage pussycat dolls

  22. Honey G July 29, 2016
