Are two of Hip-Hop’s most towering titans, Drake and Kanye West, set to release a joint album? It seems so!

When Yeezy took to Twitter to rant about Apple‘s supposed feud with TIDAL, many assumed it stemmed from reports about the tech giant’s desire to purchase the Jay Z platform.
However, a new spin is emerging – one which sees West’s shared plans of getting Apple CEO Tim Cook on the phone with Jigga and Drake take on a new dimension.
For, during an appearance at the OVO Fest tonight in Toronto, the rappers revealed that they are working on a collaborative project.

Any such project would come at an interesting time.
Apple’s poster-boy Drake is unstoppable, with any and everything he touches turning a shiny hue of Platinum.
Kanye, on the other hand, hasn’t been enjoying the commercial heights of previous years – most notably with current LP ‘The Life Of Pablo.’ Without the corporate clout of the leading streaming platforms (West is part-owner of outsider TIDAL), could this be a smart corner cutting exercise to return to the top?
Whatever the case, both acts have a successful history with collaborative projects; as evidenced by ‘Watch The Throne’ and Drake’s Future team-up ‘What A Time To Be Alive.’

Kanye need something to revive his lackluster music career right now so why not use Drake.. It all works out.

Another album Drake? I swear the newer artist are like slaves. The lessor need to release two times more albums, singles and features. Adele and Beyoncé is the true seller, same goes to Taylor. The rest are just releasing a billion amount of albums each year. What I need is Keri album!

I suspect a certain Mr West is peeved that his TIDAL-only exclusive release of “The Life of Pablo” didn’t yield financial rewards it might have had it been released traditionally. Make no mistake, the 1st week sales of “The Life of Pablo” would have been very impressive had they been released traditionally.
Who can blame him, his TIDAL buy-in really f***** up his sales and you can rest assured for the fact that his partner’s wife was given lease to release on apple did NOT sit well with him.
They’re both genuinely talented and the sales would be enormous, and there’s no way Drake would agree to the Tidal-only nonsense and let’s not even talk about the money they would get from the resultant tour. Hopefully its true because it would be great for both of them, great for their fans and great for hip/hip.
When will yall understand that that the only people who care about sales are YALL. The life of Pablo is yet another classic from kanye who who will outrap nearly anybody in this industry.
