Drake‘s domination with ‘VIEWS’ has been astounding on many a front. Not just its gargantuan sales, but the fact that they’ve been accrued without the help of any videos.
Indeed, for all their success, lead singles ‘One Dance’ and ‘Controlla’ have yet to receive the visual treatment.
That all looks set to change, though. Because, after dropping a hint last month, the Canadian rapper has offered the strongest suggestion yet that something is near.

On Instagram today, he shared the following snaps and caption:
“PLEASE FORGIVE ME” featuring music from the album Views COMING SOON”
With the likes of Beyonce and Kanye West making the arrival of new visuals an “event,” it’s clear Drizzy may very well be following suit.
Hopefully, he delivers with whatever he’s cooking. Because he has such a momentum at the moment that visuals are not only not needed, but the fact could be a marketing point in itself.

Christ, he’s had a good run with this album, can’t he just leave it at that? He’s going to make everyone even more sick of him.
I have to agree. This album has been promoted for the last two years. He’s pretty much everywhere to the point that it’s exhausting. Think he should save his energy for the next album and let listeners digest what he has already given. If he’s aiming for another hit, he should just shoot a video for the Rihanna song and leave it at that. This album is not strong enough for a full album visual. Lacks substance, limited themes and all around mediocre.
You sound stupid… Limited themes? That’s a bad thing? He focused on a theme for an album which is why it’s not all over the place… If he had multiple themes then you little girls would be complaining about that… A Views visual album would be great, especially since he actually HAS the acting chops…

The fact that he was able to get away with a 10-week stay at #1 with One Dance and it didn’t even have a video >>>> With that being said, he would’ve been better off releasing videos for three singles and then maybe transitioning into something of a mini-movie like Janet did with the Rhythm Nation short film and Usher with Rhythm City/Caught Up for the Confessions album. I don’t see the music or his persona being compelling enough for a full length film. All power to him though. This has been a banner year for him.
