After igniting excitement with the announcement of ninth studio album ‘Glory,’ superstar Britney Spears has premiered new song ‘Private Show.’
The cut, which is marked departure from her Pop-ier mainstay, was released as an instant-grat track for anyone who pre-ordered her LP.
Folk were given an early taste of the production when it was previewed during a commercial for the singer’s fragrance of the same name.

From a production standpoint, ‘Private Show’ is a refreshing route for Spears. It’s surprisingly soulful, Bluesy, and minimalist in comparison to her usual “all-out” affairs.
However, the vocals on the chorus are shocking.
She sounds like jangling car keys and it’s clear she (nor the producer) could find the right one.
That said…
Oddly, the ambitious sound of the song in a broader context has us buzzed to hear what else ‘Glory’ (due August 26th) will be serving up. Hopefully her voice won’t continue to sound chopped, screwed, and misused.

The only thing to me that sound annoying is her saying private show but the rest of it sounds dope
I actually thing this is a great track all round, she sounds really confident vocally, we all know Britneys tone of voice either you like it or you don’t we’ve had 20 years to get used to it, she just sounds less processed to me on this project as the last 2 albums the producers seemed to tweet everything, she sounds more raw like she’s put her foot down about just letting her sing, it works for me!

I’ve always been a huge Britney fan and I want her to succeed in all she does. That being said, I love this song! It gives me more of the huskier vocal she gave on her first album and the Mickey Mouse club. It definitely had me tickled with the phrasing of “work it, work it, spin it and twerk it”. But, I can definitely appreciate her giving me a new sound and giving me energy in the delivery. Britney will forever be a legend no matter what any haters are saying. So far, this album is sounding promising. I will definitely giving this album a try.
