While not a comeback single, the direction is definitely one worth treading for Christina.
For, competitively, few are playing in this lane – hence it’s hers to own. Sonically, it also provides her voice ample room to soar.
Above all, she’s already scored chart-topping success with the similar-sounding ‘Moves Like Jagger.’ As such, it’s clear there’s an opportunity here.
In an ideal scenario, the follow-up to ‘Lotus’ will serve this brand of soulful, while still giving us the “nasty-naughty” Xtina we’ve come to know and love

I love the song! I know some people will not like it, mainly for “stan” reasons, or because they are not familiar with 1970’s. It’s all about the visual, I think once people see the song with the show they’ll change their mind. But it’s nice to hear her sing something more fun for a change.

I STAN for good material, her last 2 albums have been majorly lacking, it just happens here the public agrees, Fantasia just put out a GREAT album that didn’t sell but you don’t see me complaining about it because it’s great MATERIAL. Ugh correction Christina only put out one bad album and that was Lotus. In the 5th yr anniversary of Bionic Billboard and other critics did a reevaluation of the album and said that the album was actually good and just ahead of its time and just needed time to marinate, loosely paraphrasing what they said.

She still got it. Most of the pop tarts of today would kill to have an album like Stripped or Back to Basics, Stripped its such a masterpiece, I still listen to Impossible, Get Mine and Walk Away
Oh my goodness! Walk Away should of been a single!!!! I swear, stripped gets more amazing as time sits on it. Loving me for me slays still too. Stripped was a nofiller album, all emotions represented!
