Beyonce‘s management team is swelling.

Details on the silent and serious moves the entertainer has been making behind the scenes to elevate ‘Parkwood Entertainment.’

Mrs. Carter cut Mathew Knowles out of her managerial picture in 2011 after he was accused of misappropriating money she’d earned during her time as his client.

He denied this claim.

Now, after welcoming JP Morgan‘s sports and entertainment marketing division leader Steve Pamon to her team to replace him, she has found a friend and collaborator in Peter Thea, formerly of Jive Records.

The Wall Street Journal reveals:

Late last year she hired a new team of top executives, poaching talent from the finance, tech and entertainment industries. One of these is Peter Thea, a music-business veteran, joined from Warner Bros. Records, to manage artists. Parkwood created new departments, including an in-house record label, and added staffers.

Before catching Bey’s eye, Thea was the Executive Vice President of Jive Records between January 1999 and July 2011. While there, he served as one of the industry power players behind Britney Spears‘ creative steering wheel.

The October of 2011 saw him make his way over to Universal Music (home to Rihanna) where he also worked as EVP.

Three years later, in January 2014, he became the Executive Vice President of Creative Operations at Warner Bros.

He now holds a similar position at Parkwood, tasked with supporting the company by building its roster.

Exciting times.

    • Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 24, 2016

Yet u came on a Beyonce related post to exhibit the apparent irony in by commenting….I SEE YOU.

    • BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 September 24, 2016

If sucking means getting her 6th #1 album, 6th Platinum album, #1 tour world wide, 4 Emmy nominations, stealing the show at the Super Bowl, winning 4 BET Awards, winning 8 VMA’s & stealing the show once again from Rihanna then I would WANT to suck as bad as Beyonce!

      #STAYMAD!

      • Jay September 24, 2016

These haters stay mad cuz Bey will always be SUPERIOR to their favs! YONCE ALL IN THEIR MOUTH LIKE LIQUOR! #20yearsinthegame and still SLAYIN! King B!

    • Baddiebeymyfav September 24, 2016

      • Baddiebeymyfav September 24, 2016

    • Nope September 24, 2016

She is one of the most overrated artists of all time.

      • BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 September 24, 2016

        @Nope

I sure Beyonce is happy with being called overrated vs being underrated or even worse UNSUNG!

      • #justsayn September 24, 2016

        @Nope

U mean her music is overrated! Her music has never been that great to me but u can’t deny her talent on the stage!

    • ? September 24, 2016

      My fav is ADELE goodbye

      • BEY>RIH September 25, 2016

Adele is more overrated than Beyoncé.

  2. Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 24, 2016

Steve Pamon is a very respected man in financial and business management….good for Bey. i read on the Wall Street Journal, where an article was written on Bey, that he was very instrumental to the ON THE RUN TOUR happening. She knows what she is doing…

  3. BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 September 24, 2016

While these girls are worried about singles and social media ranking/likes/followers… Bey is thinking LONGTERM into building a legacy & an international lifestyle brand. This is why Bey will never go broke or ever have to worry about relevance because she is ensuring that she will be visible BEYOND MUSIC! Most of these girls don’t have a back up/Plan B.

    Go head Bey!

  4. Surprise..(DEC 2013) September 24, 2016

PARKWOOD is really doing its own thing.

  5. Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? September 24, 2016

Parkwood is going to be a power player in the near future she might give Jay Z a run for his money.

    • BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 September 24, 2016

Beyonce will SURPASS Jay-z in the money department within th next year or 2. This Formation Tour & the fact that she becoming a OWNER/CEO and her own manager the income for her is limitless. It won’t happen over night but in the next 2-3 Beyonce’s Parkwood is going to be a serious competitor!

      • SMH September 25, 2016

Lmao delusional much? She will never surpass Jay’s money. Not even after he’s dead.

  6. Casual-T September 24, 2016

I don’t think this label will succeed, simply b/c I think the dynamics of the music industry are changing. Beyonce is well aware of this. Labels now can only make money through 360 deals. If one of her acts becomes famous enough to matter (like she’d ever let that happen; women of her stature generally do NOT allow competition in their spheres), expect an explosive lawsuit from the artist or group to get off her label. I can see her succeeding with film/TV projects, though.

    • BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 September 24, 2016

Yeah I think after this album/Tour Beyonce will fall into the background and give her company more attention to build it. The fact that her album got 4 nominations from a music video album if she made TV shows and produced movies B will def build her portfolio!

  7. HailLegendBeysus September 24, 2016

She’s making all the right moves slowly. Parkwood is going to be making major money soon!!
    .
Also Bey has won another award for Formation!!

    • Blonde Stan September 24, 2016

Find your own identity. You aren’t black.

      • HailLegendBeysus September 24, 2016

Lmao where did i ever try to identify as black?

  8. stardom September 24, 2016

Queen bey has stung again. She just keeps building her brand & I know it only gets bigger & better for the Caters.
It will be also good if after formation tour(which will make history when done) & possibly joint album she takes a break to concentrate on making parkwood huge plus make her artists really big & have baby no 2 lol.

  9. brazio September 24, 2016

She might need to put him on the team to get her a world wide hit….it’s been awhile since single ladies ???

    • BEY>RIH September 25, 2016

What a tired drag. Bítch she IS the hit and your fave cant keep up with her sales.

  10. Fatusankoh September 24, 2016

You go queen Bey good luck and more success in all you do

  11. Dem Lessers September 24, 2016

Yusss Bey, emulate Brit Brit girl!

    • Yeah I said it. September 24, 2016

Girl, who the hell would want to emulate Britney “My father is my conservator” Spears ?

    • Anna September 24, 2016

@DemLessorsDatIStanFor Are you still salty over ZITney being upstaged by Yonce at the VMAs. I’d be mad too if my fave was forced to wear a bright yellow outfit after the Lemonade medley, and no1 gave a hot damn about her performance. Hehe!

  12. ROCK September 25, 2016

Please get her a hit song.Every box has been checked except for the one that really matters.I bet she knows. The record sales are declining. And she won’t get away with another visual trap album.

    • BEY>RIH September 25, 2016

Lmao at you claiming singles are most important to an artist. When you can sell albums and tour tickets (most revenue), wtf is a single?

  13. ROCK September 25, 2016

There was a time an artist will drop an album and for the next two or three years it will be on the charts, churning out one hit single after the other, selling in millions. Now albums hardly spend 3 months.THe music sucks

  14. FASHION_ICON ~ Anti&Lemonade September 25, 2016

    Rihanna did a similar thing
With her talent agency where Iggy azalea signed lately…
But congrats to Bey I feel so proud to see black women building an Empire on their own.
Big moves made by the only two black female artist who’s are relevant and powerful..
Westbury road ent and parkwood ent

    • BEY>RIH September 25, 2016

Cool for rihanna, but Beyoncé is the HBIC.

  15. Q_T September 25, 2016

Her music is so dry. What’s a singer without good music?

  16. Nowqd Reddibut it ash trjoan ivy blobukz Need UK timely Ukuno eremixi September 25, 2016

  17. Royalkev September 25, 2016

I’m thoroughly pleased with this ‘Lemonade’ era. Beyonce’s already surpassed all my expectations! I know there’s certainly more big success to come!
