As reported, Queen Bey scored four nominations for the HBO broadcast of her ‘Lemonade’ visual album at this year’s show.
It figures, then, why organizers are reportedly eager for the diva to make an appearance come September 18th at the Microsoft Theater.
According to the ever reputable TBHT, producers are actively trying to secure the 35-year-old’s attendance at the event. Although, there’s no word yet on whether there will be a performance component attached.
What is certain is that Beyonce will be in California (the same state as the Emmys) the day before on a ‘Formation Tour’ stop.

We, for one, one would love to see Mrs Carter in action at the Emmys. On the one hand, it’ll be another opportunity to watch the increasingly reclusive singer on-stage. More importantly, it’ll further heighten her unique point of difference compared to her peers.

I don’t. There are some well deserving actresses and actors that deserve their moment and it will easily be taken away by the attendance of a Beyonce performance. Not that she isn’t deserving of her nominations but she is coming as a guest in a realm that isn’t necessarily her dominate craft. Her nominations that night are for directing and production of a live action performance so she should just come as that title and not as a performer. Let the actresses and actors have their moment and don’t please these Emmy producers for their ratings.

Lemonade is #Platinum in UK. Lessors need to chart for another 52 weeks to reach Platinum. And ST spent its 55th week in UK album chart. Not bad for fully R&B album with no hit and only one televised performance! As for Australia, Lem ascended to #11 in its 20th week, while Views drop out of top 30 last week, jumped again to #25, Lemonade never left Australian Album Chart top 20 since release. Who’s local again? Barbra also does not experience a larger drop both in UK and Aus.
