Sources close to Billboard tell the publication that the dynamite diva is in talks with organisers of the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Producers are said to be high on her as a headliner after being impressed with the grandeur she brought to her performance of the US National Anthem at this year’s spectable.
Should Gaga land the gig – which is easily one of the most coveted in the world – it’d serve as quite the coup for her comeback campaign.
With new single ‘Perfect Illusion’ putting her back in the Pop mix, the Bowl would place her at its center.
In response to Billboard, the NFL were coy saying…
“We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show.”
The 51st annual football showdown is scheduled for February 5th 2017 at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

If it comes true then FINALLY! She´s clearly the best performer left to perform on that stage among the ones that still have not done it. Gaga has the talent, stage presence, vocal ability, songs, versatility and passed duet prospects to make the half time show what it should be- a spectacle. A talent based spectacle with all the bells and whistles. I’d like Usher, too. But I’ve not liked ushers singing/dancing performances the last few years, he was too out of breathe. Gaga gets my vote

As to R. kelly yes he has the hits but he’s not really family friendly (under aged dating/sextape/etc) and you know how the nfl is strict about their image. And whom they choose to align their self with. He doesn’t make the cut unfortunately. I’d be here for it though!
