Alicia Keys was the latest name to take to the stage at the 2016 Apple Music Festival.
The 15-time Grammy winner played to a packed crowd at the Roundhouse in London last night, with millions more watching online.
During her hit-filled set, the singer was sure to interweave new material – presumably from her delayed comeback album. Included was a performance of the previously unheard ‘She Don’t Really Care.’
A sonic nod to the gritty Hip-Hop knock Keys promised on her as yet untitled LP, the track went down a treat live.

Though clearly not a single, it made for an enjoyable listen.
At this point, it’s apparent that Alicia is performing slots originally booked in support of what would have been her album.
Sure, it’s not an ideal situation, but it’s one that could ultimately work in her favour.
For, with each gig, she’s provided a platform to remind the masses why the fell in love with her 15 years ago.
Perhaps once she gains tangible momentum, she’ll re-rev the LP’s formal campaign.

I’m so tired of people always coming with old sale numbers. The times of selling a shitload of albums is gone, so you simply can’t compare it. It doesn’t matter what happened in the past and who sold what 15 years ago. Now counts. And though I’m not really a Beyonce Fan, she is one of the biggest sellers and star now. Her tours are always sold out, her albums sell. So yes, Right now she belongs to the top out there, while alicia is having Problems getting her album out.

Yes I always say beyonce has become one of the biggest sellers lately no doubt. But it is true that with all the hot machine and relevancy she had behind during the 00s, her sales weren´t that good. Albums were still selling pretty big and she never quite killed it sales wise. Even artists from the 90s outsold her with some albums in the 00s, apart from manny 00s artists. But yes she definitely is killing it now and I always say I respect her last 3 albums and the way she has evolved with them, it has made her next level among most of her competition right now.

Alicia always delivers. Always true to her sound but also evolving. Real artist and songwriter. I always say it: her sales and actual hit singles while being 100% R&B are outstanding. As the real artist she is, if her sales disappear forver, she´ll be fine releasing her own quality music. It´s what happens when you have the talent to back up all the misteps and lack os commercial success.
