Currently exiled from Twitter, the fiery femcee shared on her Facebook that she had signed a record deal with Wu Tang Clan’s RZA.
“I’m Finally getting a record deal :). I’m signing with RZA. He and I have an excellent work chemistry. Filming coco with him was loads of fun!! Now I get to make music with him!!!”
The Harlem rapstress expanded her talents this year by starring in RZA’s upcoming musical drama, ‘Coco’, accompanied by Jill Scott.
Hopefully this new movie and deal can produce a much needed spark for Bank’s career.
Since being banned from Twitter, following racist comments she made towards Zayn Malik, she released her ‘Slay-Z’ EP – which largely went unnoticed. She also came under-fire for her skin bleaching controversy.
As a rapper and singer, Bank’s talents have no bounds. The only thing that continuously holds her career back is the slew of controversies she been involved in. Maybe this contact will serve as a turning point.

The Fact is that she’s a brilliant performer. I don’t care about the controversy, I’m here for the music. She’s gifted, artistically speaking and that’s just a fact. Her first album has received better reviews than Nicki or Iggy. And I do love Nicki and Iggy too but once again, that’s a fact guys. I’m glad she found a new record deal and I don’t forget that she’s a young lady, still learning from life. What about you when you were young? Anyway, I can’t wait to listen to something new.

I don’t know that she’ll be able to come back, she alienated a lot of her fans with her latest racist & sexist attacks on zayn & that little girl from Disney channel. Bish deal with the fact Coco is coming to slay your life! And don’t get it twisted, I love Dej Loaf but not a lot of ppl check for her as much as AB. F**-a-charts. Her music has been heralded by metacritic and too eclectic to be mainstream. If the Weeknd got praised for being underground before he went the pop route then so can AB and ain’t nothing wrong with that!
