The Sony-signed sensation has been hard at work on his second studio album since sales and streaming points carried his debut set ‘TRAP SOUL’ to platinum heights.

Sans streams sales of the set hover around the 500,000 units sold mark with support from the singles ‘Exchange’ and ‘Don’t’ and a fan base he hopes will turn its follow-up into a bonafide success.

The pressure is undoubtedly on. For, his new LP will find itself forced to soar in a world dominated by the unstoppable force that is Bruno Mars and his rival Drake.

A release date is yet to be set.

    WHO?

    • Danzou October 26, 2016

      Someone more successful than you.

      • Danzou October 26, 2016

More money, more success, more happiness, more everything than you that’s who he is.

  2. #JACKIE October 26, 2016

    ZADDY

  3. Danzou October 26, 2016

Good. I didn’t like trap soul and don’t had to grow on me. I like let me explain though.

  4. Trill Clinton October 26, 2016

Meh.. His songwriting is good but he’s mediocre to me. He should work behind the scenes

  5. Tim Brown October 26, 2016

The real question is, what happened to August Alsina?

    • kwinzy October 26, 2016

August’s last LP was on some real sh!t and got hella overlooked. This trap generation can’t handle cuts like Song Cry.

    • #JACKIE October 26, 2016

August was zaddy, but the music he released after his mix tapes sucked.

    • Danzou October 26, 2016

His label leaked his album and he gave up after that.

Had a bad attitude, thought he was on Chris Brown/Trey Songz level on year one Vs their 10th year. Short range in artistry. The same will happen to this dude. The Weak-End is clinging to pop, so he may last an extra era longer.

      • Danzou October 26, 2016

His attitude wasn’t as bad as your face but he did cry too much on the breakfast club. He was always complaining.

      • Tori October 26, 2016

BINGO @MARK!!!! He got down to using nudes to promote his album after it tanked. He & Bryson make okay music but IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME! They both have their own different style but they keep repeating that same style. And neither of them are real singers so I don’t see the lasting to long in a business that’s 80% singing.

    Baby I’m READY

  7. kwinzy October 26, 2016

TRAPSOUL is still on rotation in the whip so I’m looking forward to this.

  8. Paulo October 26, 2016

I’m yet to check TRAP SOUL. idk I was always more interested in Tory than on him but Right My Wrongs is a great song and so is Don’t.

  9. SWISH October 26, 2016

if it sounds anything like that “let me explain” song he just released, he can keep it

Ill be supporting my husband…… Love him!

I feel bad for male r&b artists these days. You have to release so many albums chasing so many trends that basically all their music blends and overlaps each other. No standouts among young black males AT ALL.

    • Credits October 26, 2016

You’re right. But I’ll give frank ocean credit for staying in his own lane though.

      • Danzou October 26, 2016

To be honest there ARE rnb guys out there staying true to themselves if you look. BUT I will say this, rnb boys these days can’t sing. That’s what’s missing. No gerald leverts. No Johnny gills. No Luther Vandrosses. They’re all either a skinny white boy or some type of mediocre looking artists with minimal vocal skill. Other than John Legend and Sam smith none of them can sing.

      • Credits October 26, 2016

@danzou, don’t count out Luke James! He’ll out sing all of them!

      • Danzou October 26, 2016

No your right. Him, Miguel, Frank, James Fauntleroy, elijah Blake, and even chris when he really wants to can sing their asses off.

Can’t wait. Trapsoul was a masterpiece.
    Tiller is beast.
