Fantasia is hitting the road!
The Soul-filled songbird is gearing up to bring her unique brand of “Rock Soul” to US cities this Fall as she embarks on ‘The Definition Of Tour.’
Set to kick off in Macon, Georgia, initial dates for the trek – which’ll feature guests Guordan Banks and La’Porsha Renae – have been unveiled.
The nation-wide jaunt is being mounted in support of the American Idol graduate’s fifth album ‘The Definition Of,’ which arrived at retail this July.
Upon its release, the LP debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 32,000. However, it dropped to #66 the week after.
Still the stage has always been Fantasia’s most potent playground, so regardless of the charts, there’s no doubt she’ll put on a show-stopping show. Her live gravitas is rivalled by next to no one in her no other.

I love Tasia but the definition of was just not a good album.
Totally forgot she released that album…. And I love fantasia, I was let down though
Thus album was trash.
“The Defintion of” is trash thus why sales surrounding it are at the landfill!! she makes me lol when she says It’s not about sales it’s not about being number #1 ??? but then complain about how she underrated ? I’m like girl wake up and smell the coffee tasia you got to have sells and upper chart placement to land the attention your career so desperately needs I like that primary wave is keeping her busy but her career is honestly in the dumps at the moment S/o to her STYLIST and Hair Stylist she been slaying as of lately though!!

THEN AGAIN SHE DOes GOOD WITH TRIBUTES so i will check for her when she do one of those “I made it” & “Sleeping Wit the One I Love” wasn’t all that bad but just not the norm.from her I hope shevgraps this and go harder next time!!

This is why I am hoping Fantasia pulls a Tina Turner crossover to rock music. Fantasia should have never been placed in the R&B category cause she’s not a R&B singer. I never thought R&B suited her voice. It’s too bold and edgy and gritty to be limit to just R&B. Plus R&B fans are too wishy washy. The Rock audience would appreciate Fantasia as an artist. R&B fans just want to keep her in that “my man did me wrong” category like they do Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, Keyshia Cole and Monica. Fantasia even said that she never really wanted to go in that direction musically. It was all her label. She always wanted to pick up where Tina Turner left off at. Even back on American Idol, I saw Fantasia more as a bluesy rock singer. Fantasia would’ve had a bigger career if she wasn’t singing R&B.

It’s a shame when people talk crap about people because they don’t check them Fantasia well sing long time after your favs are gone because she can sing . Fantasia can tour without having a hit . She doesn’t need gimmicks for lack of ability she can sing
Fantasia’s album wasn’t bad. I liked the album. It was a different sound from what people may be used to from Fantasia but that was the whole point tho. Fantasia wanted to do something different. She got tired of just doing “my man did me wrong” type of songs all the time. And she wanted to showcase her versatility as an artist. Fantasia is an ARTIST. She was tired of being placed in a box.
