The journey to ‘Joanne’ continues for Lady Gaga.

October 21st will bring with it the release of the diva’s fifth studio album, as such she’s now inviting the masses to hear more than lead single ‘Perfect Illusion.’

Moments ago, Mother Monster unleashed ‘Million Reasons’ as an instant-grat track for any and all who pre-ordered ‘Joanne.’

Co-penned by Hillary Lindsey, the song is a soulful, stripped-back affair with a Country undercurrent.

Take a listen below…

It’s quickly becoming apparent the type of picture Gaga is painting with the ‘Joanne’ project; and it’s one ‘Million’ helps makes more vivid.

All at once, the song manages to be sparse yet compelling, raw, and potently piercing.

We approve…do you?

Gaga has had a string of flops but this is pretty.

I respect her for going a different route, but I didn’t fall in love with her for this type of music. The album is shaping up to be a snoozefest.
All the best Gaga, but with this being the single that’s supposed to convince the consumer to purchase the record, I think I’m out. 🙁

        @Maurice my thoughts EXACTLY!!!

Its a no from me again. Good luck gaga ?????????????????????????????????????????

      • Christina Aguilera October 6, 2016

Gaga is so agressive as a singer.. i can’t even feel the song

    Help her Lord……

  3. Chad October 6, 2016

This is how Christina Aguilera became irrelevant. She changed her sound so drastically that her core fan base stopped supporting her and now one of the most talented singers of today is but a memory. And Gaga is heading down the same road.

Better than perfect illusion. Idk why I see Miley Cyrus in my head after first listening. 3/5. It’s not phenomenal, but I feel like it may be a sleeper hit with right promotion and visuals.

after artpop you would think gaga would want to go back to her older fame/ fame monster sound but instead she strays further away, I understand she wants to reinvent herself each era like madonna, rihanna and beyonce does but I don’t think this is gonna work.

I actually like this song , not sure how it fits in this era but I like it

This is more like it. A well written song with good vocals. Reminds me of a song Pink would have on one of her albums. I can’t wait for Joanne.

This betch certainly not bothering anymore about being a flopped. After all that’s what the general public portrayed her to be, flopga. She could’ve come up with 30 versions of poker face or bad romance if she wanted to with redOne but she dont, i mean she’s still gonna get bash by the chart addict with whatever she’s doing whether it’s good or bad. Atleast She makes whatever she wants with this record and i applaud her for that unlike some other female artists who only served the chart and doesnt evolved. This song is great, its like no editing on the vocals and she sounds amazing. I can relate. Not a huge fan, I like some of her old her stuff and let’s be real this betch will still debut at #1 with joanne. Cheers.

I love this. She gives NO fücks about this era though, I kinda respect her for it.
    It’s 4,5 seconds

    • FC/JC October 6, 2016

Totally gave me 4 5 seconds Tz

Wow what a great song with really good vocals. Now I definitely can´t wait to buy it. This is going to be a real album (also with Florence and all!!).

I started to suspect months ago that this girl was not going to give a damn cause she knew people were waiting for her to fail regardless of the product. They have made the right decision. It will be a quality affair from now on without the stress of thinking about what charts fans may want. She was embraced by the industry and her legendary peers a while ago and she´s fully embracing that status and new route too. This is the artist I wanted her to totally become. More like her please!

Anti shits all over this and u know it lol

  11. Paulo October 6, 2016

pure vocal greatness! this is what U & I tried to be but failed, country-pop. it reminds me of a stripped down Gypsy but also of acoustic Shakira. come thru Joanne!

    • Datredd23 October 6, 2016

Her voice is contrived and very try hard it’s no passion it’s too whimsical anyone could match these vocals there not that impressive by the way lol

      • Paulo October 6, 2016

“anyone could match these vocals” well how come they haven’t? ooh and btw this is not her best vocal performance nor did I imply it was so…

  12. Remey October 6, 2016

I’ve never been a fan of GaGa’s stripped and scaled back vocals. She can sing, but her voice has never been something that sounds “pretty” to my liking. However, I do appreciate this song and it’s rawness. I also appreciate the direction this album seems to be going. Slightly reminds me of Beyonce’s 4. It’ may not be the most commercial, but it’s filled with strong content.

    Million Reasons
