Sevyn Streeter isn’t here for time wasting.

Because just days after debuting new song ‘D4L,’ the R&B belle has unwrapped its accompanying video.

Guest star The-Dream doesn’t appear, but there’s no signs of that quelling Sevyn’s fire.

Giving a new meaning to  being “every woman,” the singer-songwriter dons a variety of different outfits, as she playfully asserts that she’s “down for life.”

It’s the latest taste of her debut album ‘Girl Disrupted,’ which arrives early next year.

Check out the video, one of several uncaged ahead of the LP’s landing, below…

Good stuff.

Kudos to Sevyn for soldiering on.

It’s so warming to see an artist hyper-hungry to bring her dreams to fruition.

Hopefully her hustling pays off.

Cute visual Sevyn…. But come harder. “My Love For You” video was better in my opinion even with its simplicity.

    Signed – A fan.

I hope Tinashe, Seven, Ciara, and Jojo find hits that showcase their individuality. These girls have talent but cant seem to harness themselves to the GP mindset.

Jojo doing a good job so far but she needs to pick a single from ML she can build upon…The rest need to build a body of work that they can elevate.

Ciara WAS at first but then she went down hill with fantasy ride. Her dancing has gotten her really far but musically she’s lost.

You definitely have a valid point.

Good asf song, can’t stop playing it!

But why didn’t Dream have a proper verse?

Catchy song and cute video! I like how Sevyn isn’t a try-hard pseudo deep “Urban” singer like most of these new girls. She does straight fun/s*** R&B and doesn’t stray from it. This song probably won’t be a hit because it’s R&B, she’s black and it’s 2016 but hopefully it won’t deter her from releasing music.

None of the stuff she has released lately can top anything that was on the EPs. These last three songs/videos are a waste of promotional efforts. She should have released an album already with those EP tracks. I like sevyn so in rooting for her.

im such a fan of hers and i like her songs that she put out but wheres her smash???? Wheres her main introductory to her album? My love for you should have been it and they should have pushed it hard to radio and then a month or two before the album release a banger or another slow jam. Her slow jams bang. The radio DOES support slow songs, just not from black artists, which is such a shame.

Bryson Tiller slow a** song was played a bizzillion times…Radio programmers are pushing mostly rap songs to destroy opportunities for Rnb starlets ESP! But they are taking it! I never hear anyone blk female in particular under 30 complain they play too much Rap! How the f*** is anyone suppose to succeed and increase their “views” with out radio support ugh!

  7. No favs, just here for the music October 17, 2016

This song is literally trash. Stop romanticizing being a side chick and dumb ass broad. Being ‘D4L’ makes you sound like a fool.

Can see please bring back the music she had on her EP??

    • Bwash October 17, 2016

      your life is trash

    • Danzou October 17, 2016

Shut yo dumb ass up. “As we lay” is a pure classic which is about infidelity. So is “down low” by r Kelly.

      • No favs, just here for the music October 17, 2016

Just because something is a ‘classic’ doesn’t mean the message is good you moron. It’s funny whenever something is clearly f***** up idiots are quick to use success as an excuse throwing away any moral standpoint

      • Danzou October 17, 2016

But men talk about being side n***** all the time? As well as talking women from their men? Take your misogyny and your sexism and shove right up your hotep asshole.

I actually like the song now and just bought it on iTunes!!

At this point, Sevyn should release her album now as it’s been too long since “It Won’t Stop”. Plus, she can finally go on the road with it and work the album on tour and open up for some R&B artists like Chris, Trey (When his album comes out) and also her own tour.

Tinashe pretty much did that and even though her album flopped it still helped her to remain booked!

I get so mad at her for not releasing this album when wont stop was #1 everywhere. I think some ppl lost interest
