It’s almost time for Bruno Mars fans!

The funk connoisseur will hope to make it rain and reign on the charts with new album ’24k Magic,’ which arrives in stores tomorrow.

Since blazing back onto the scene with the LP’s title track last month, Bruno and co have been on an aggressive promotional push. One which has seen them hit many a stage in many a country.

It’s also seen him pose a-front of a number of publications – the latest being NME. Peep the cover above.

With more high-profile promo slots ahead (including this Sunday’s AMAs), all eyes will be on Mars’ sales come next week.

Pending then, watch him action below…

Just because a guy is on top of his game, why do jealous jackasses always assume that someone is gay?

The album leaked yesterday and it is a 90s RnB album. The sad thing is if a Black artists did this (AS THEY HAVE BEEN DOING i.e TGT Dave Hollister Mya, Tweet etc etc) No one would care. They would Urban AC them. But since bruno mars isn’t black he makes pop radio. It makes absolutely no sense. The industry needs to stop black balling black artists and give their white counterparts the same opporunities

I don’t disagree about the opportunities, but do think that it takes somebody on top to successfully bring a sound back. No one is checking for TGT, Dave Hollister, Mya or Tweet in the way they do for Bruno. You also can’t bring a sound back if you never left it. These artists have had this sound forever; it’s not like they evolved over time and are making a resurgence of R&B. It’s the lane they’ve always played in. Now Black mega-stars could try to bring back the sound, but it doesn’t seem that Bey, Rih or Chris Breezy (I guess is the biggest male?) are interested in going that route. So I thank Bruno for bringing back an re-popularizing that sound that awarded people with vocal talent and writers with class. I’ll take it however I can get it.

It may not sell as much as his first two albums if it is so R&B as some people are saying. R&B just doesn´t sell around the world. Mariah´s huge worldwide sales were never the same after Butterfly for a reason. Music wise: kudos to him.
