It’s pretty safe to say now is a great time to be J. Cole.
The rapper, whose ‘surprise’ album ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ came with just a week notice, took no one by surprise when it topped the Billboard 200 with a monstrous figure. However, we’re sure a few jaws dropped when perusers took a peek at the Hot 100 to see Cole’s name listed 10 times in the top 40 alone! That’s right, every single song on the emcee’s newest opus simultaneously charted. If that’s not enough, two cuts not featured on the official tracklist – ‘Fasle Prophets’ and ‘Everybody Dies’ – are also in the Hot 100.
The amazing feat puts him in the company of serial hitmakers The Weeknd, Beyonce, Drake, and Justin Bieber, all of whom have placed all of the content of their respective most recent albums in the Hot 100.
Tuck in below to see who joined him in this week’s refreshed Hot 100:
J Cole >>>>>>>> Drake
shut up you mulatto faaag
shut the fug up child bride trash
Aaliyah stan is the smegma of the TGJ comment section. Phukk him.
A true talent. I bought all of his albums + I’ve been to all of his tours. I’m so happy for him!
Ok but the title of this article lied.
where is the lie?
Every song hit top 40 when there’s two at #54 #57.
@mark
The two songs that are outside of the top 40 are NOT on his album (just like the article says)
As if we expected Mark to be literate. Kii
Billboard needs to change their rules to only official singles can chart because of this. So pretty much every song from BIG new albums will chart. That’s why most artist can’t chart because you have a single artist taking 10 of the spots. Also the top 200 need to be cut down to 100. No one gives a crap about the #105 album of the week.
Why cause your fav cant achieve this
38 top 40s, 20 top 10s and 14 #1s says hi. This isn’t a feat seeing that most will stream the album that week of release, giving each tracks hits. They always fall right off the following week. Rihanna doesn’t have a problem with charting, and she can STAY on the chart for weeks. I’m fighting for other flops that can’t chart because one or two artists are talking up 20 spots. This pushes 20 singles from 20 artist out or block them from charting. The rule needs to be changed to official singles only.
Goodbye your fav is aaliyah ?✈?
9 singles within the Top 40! He beat Bey and Prince’s record of 7 in the top 40! Congrats!
Big things for Cole but I agree they need to change the rules. Billboard is losing its integrity.

Hi Fancy Bish??
Shows that a #1 album doesn’t mean ish outside of the first week.
Wow. Bruno is slaying Abel
Oooooooo…And they cried Abel was going to finish my boy Bruno with that weak ass BottomBoy album,LMAO!!!!!!!!
Bruno is having a smaller era than what I thought it was going to be, but seriously, I didn´t understand the sudden obsession from some people trying to finish him? And using Abel at that? When the boy barely sold more than Bruno or Gaga themselves despite all the “flop-heat” they received?
J Cole is dominating, holy s***. I still want that collab album with him and Kendrick.
Who is he? I don’t know any of his songs.
I bet he is wack ass just like the rest of the his flop generation. the music industry is A MESS.
you stan for a fallen flop musician
.
bye mr diva bxtch .flop nasty a$s hoodrat
Well, that fallen flop musician you’re talkin’ about can sing circles around this spitting m***** + her debut album alone sold more than his entire discography. bye biatch.
Can’t see Beyonce all night anywhere in that chart…was the release cancelled or is it flopping just like every single from bitter lemon?
Lol…..You are so mean
bey don’t give a f*** about charting, all of her ish already charted, even if it was for a short time, all 12 songs, and album was number one. You tell your fav to top that f****** formation tour (over 250 million in sales), now that’s mean!!! lmao. Bey is the hit, and don’t you forget it. (Now that’s power). lmao. Sit your whack ass down!!!
Just like Cole, all of Lemonade’s songs charted on the hot 100 with four of them reaching the top 20.
and only one of them can be refereed to as being a moderate hit
None of lemonades songs had any longevity after like two weeks.
Who cares when her album clearly sold way more than almost any other this whole year? Seriously, some of you slow guys need to work on some logic lessons.
Nice
