In a world currently dominated by The Weeknd, Drake and Bruno Mars, the pressure is on Chris Brown to deliver content far stronger than his servings of yesteryear.

This week, he has revealed that he is committed to doing just that via an Instagram post he shared hours ago.

Why the threat of being outperformed by the ‘Starboy‘ and ‘24K Magic’ maker may see Brown deliver his strongest era to date?

Find out below…

HATE ME NOW so u won’t have to in the new year! No GAMES…. Passion/HARDWORK AND Actual TALENT!

After hearing some of the album’s material we look forward to seeing how the rest of the world responds to it.

One of the numbers we’re most excited about is a number named ‘Bite My Tongue‘ which sees Brown steer clear of the vapid Trap-leaning cuts he’s dropped in recent years, and venture into more a personable territory in which his talent can truly flourish.

What it sounds like?

Think Katy Perry‘s ‘Legendary Lovers’ on testosterone.

He teased another number on the same platform shortly after sharing the message above.

A new LP from the star in 2017 will see him go toe to toe with fresh releases from Beyonce & Jay-Z, Rita Ora, the aforementioned Perry and Rihanna, whose next studio album is expected to hit retailers before the year’s fourth quarter draws to a close.

Are you looking forward to a new Chris Brown set and the videos he’ll shoot to support it?

First off boy get the help
You need and stay off them drugs.
Then release a album and do a major city tour.
Show these people that you can reinvent yourself.

Whatever. He’s said this before and dropped the same ol generic trap s***.

He did when he came out with “Fine China”, talking about he’s going to start using live instruments and real studio production and went right back to that same tired irritating mess. His last best record he ever made was “Make Love” on his last album.

Even though he’s been out, it seems like he’s been low key.. So I guess I am ready for another official era lol. With that said, go full on promo breezy, and give us an Exclusive 2.0! Love that album. It really was solid.

I sincerely wish he delivers something magical abd real no autotune and mixing beats.

i swear he has the voice that can save r&b. while the industry is female dominated, i feel like he is the real hope for the genre. If they would stop trying to turn everything into a trap song with a rapper featured on most of the best tracks. when “look at me now” took off i hoped he would evolve past that wanna be rapper stage. too much talent for that

when he stops making the same tired A** songs about s**, ill believe it. he has let the industry change his artistry so he can stay relevant. I want the old chris back this album

Yes Chris !! You better let them know you actually got talent !!! I hope his new album is all R&B & something fresh. Idk about everybody else but he barely disappoints me. I loved “Royalty” I just hope he really does something different this fond around but judging from the snippets he’s been putting out, the album sounds good!

He barely disappointed me too to be honest. Ever since he stop working with Kevin he changed a bit and started that trap crap. If he can bring me more “no be” or “up to you” or “beg for it” then we’re good.

How about taking a 1 year break?

I swear him and Ciara have the WORST promotional tactic for every one of their album. One says “this album shows my growth” and while the other says “I believe this album is my best to date”.

And plus Chris pretty much concluded on my statements about his albums after fame lacked a direction nor any importance with him saying “this album has passion & talent” which means his others dont lol hehe!!

Chris Brown is a flop. He’s done. Career over.
