Solange‘s latest album, the chart-topping ‘Seat at the Table,’ may have been released in September, but the singer/songwriter is still pressing forward on the promo trail in support of its offerings.
Her latest stop? A red hot performance on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon.

I honestly love the performance, great production and styling. However, I wish the background vocalist complemented her voice. They were outta key… no harmony at all. Overall a great performance. I dig Solo.

Yesss Solange! She’s getting much more comfortable on stage. This is a step up from the SNL performances. I just think she needs to fire the back up girl all the way to the left. Hunny was off at so many points it was distracting lol
I wanted so bad to tell her to step her leg over that dress so she can go off like she need to. LMAO
I liked her SNL performance better even with all the nerves and the mistakes it was still beautiful. I think she’s almost there though at the place where she should be with performing. The aesthic is always there the “choreo” is also unique and lovely I really wanna see her at the essence festival.
Solange was great…she just needs to get more comfortable on stage and relax her voice…it sounds shaky at times. But..the back up girl needs to go..SHE SOUNDED OFF AS F***. But overall, i preferred this to her snl performance…it was beautiful and ethereal.
Her performances and backup singers were phenomenal during the Sol Angel and Hadley St. dreams era. But this time around it’s been a downgrade live…..in comparison to her younger self……
Great performance Solo! She’s so earthy, abstract and best of all, in good voice! I’m seeing improvement with her on stage and that just makes me get so excited for her! I loved a few of those high pitched notes, it was short and sweet! 🙂 This album/era need to be given a long 12 month run!
Also don’t y’all feEl kinda of cheated for Solange not being a high energy performer similar to her sister ? IM not asking for her to be like Beyoncé but I wish she picked up elements of that, and gave us more range, she kind and just always sits in the relaxed pocket , maybe that has more to do with this album tho

Damn SOLO – I felt her confidence on this performance – vocally she was stronger this go round and the visual were unique and perfectly complimenting of the bond and unison she is trying to convey in the song. Yes the backing singer was a little pitchy but it didn’t detract from the overall performance for me.
