The follow-up to last year’s Grammy-nominated ‘You Should Be Here‘ mixtape, ‘SSS‘ features production from G.O.O.D Music‘s Charlie Heat, Pop & Oak, and many more.
Laced with a hearty 19-tracks, Kehlani’s debut borrows grooves from the trademark sounds of the 90’s and early 00’s.
So what’s the end result? A meaty plate of nostalgia fused with freshness.

The album is really good! Songs like “Undercover”, “Personnal”, “Escape” and “I Wanna Be” could be amazing singles. “Too Much” reminds me of some old good vibes (TLC, Aaliyah and more) which is very pleasant. Plus the singles “CRZY”, “Distraction” and “Gangsta” and some other cool songs, Kehlani made a very good start here.
Yes, for her to be 21, and hits a debut album, she is sounds years ahead of some of the clowns on the radio

Very cohesive album. The songs blend together beautifully. Vocals are solid af. No features. All we need from her is one REALLLLLLLLLY good tv performance. Something that will have everybody wanting to check out her album. She has a FEW hits on this record and with the right push, urban radio would eat her up! I’m rooting for lani #SSS
