Chance The Rapper Voices Support For Brother After Bisexual Announcement

Published: Thursday 19th Jan 2017 by Sam

Chance The Rapper has been a media fixture following his breakout success last year.

However, last night saw the Chicago native thrust into the spotlight in slightly different way.

His brother, 21 year-old Hip-Hop hopeful Taylor Bennett, revealed that he is bisexual – promoting an array of response.

One of the most notable came from his big brother, who took to Twitter to share a message.

Check it out below…

Vowing to stand by his sibling, Chance posted the clip below (featuring his daughter, Taylor, and their father) with the caption…

Love this man right here, through any and all. He has grown into a great man. He’s got God and me behind him, he cannot fail he cannot fall

Good stuff.

Yes. Now we just gotta get Trey Songz younger brother to admit it. And Diggy Simmons too.

    • Metzo January 19, 2017

      Diggy?? Oops spill the tea

      • Danzou January 19, 2017

        That’s basically a pornsite

      • Danzou January 19, 2017

Yeah the grown one. The other one is a very thought out and positive space for LGBTQAPPI.

    • Credits January 19, 2017

Just because they’ve had private pics leak, doesn’t mean they are gay….

      • Danzou January 19, 2017

  3. RhiRocks January 19, 2017

He needs to come out now too when he’s ready of course

    • Danzou January 19, 2017

Chance isn’t gay and that’s the problem with a lot of you gay men especially the bottom queens. Y’all are always testing someone’s sexuality which is why so many of you get killed or beat up. Y’all don’t understand that you can’t test a man that way which is why straight men rarely wanna be friends with gays.

      • ImaMessyBitch January 19, 2017

        PREACH!

      • Lmfao_Hoe January 19, 2017

Chance is not gay and he has a daughter and girlfriend for God sakes.

      • RhiRocks January 19, 2017

Im a girl but you tried it . Stay pressed. What are you his boyfriend !

      • Credits January 19, 2017

But didn’t you just test the sexuality of trey’s brother and diggy? ?? ^^^^

      • Belladonna January 20, 2017

I wish you the best in your life.

      • Danzou January 20, 2017

        Thank you Bella

  4. LISA LEVINE January 19, 2017

    Love the gaysssssssssssssssss

  5. Kwinzy January 19, 2017

    This made my morning?

  6. XoMoDe January 19, 2017

That’s great, now who the hell is his brother, anyway? Chance the Rapper is only barely famous himself. What does his brother even do? Before this “announcement,” I never heard of him. So because this idiot admits to bending over for other men, he gets to have instant fame? Nah.

    • Chileplease (the first and only bih) January 19, 2017

Who cares if you’ve never heard of him? You didn’t know who Chance was either at one point. His brother is a known rapper. Thanks to him, maybe other young people won’t feel the need to pretend to be something they’re not.

    • Caleb January 20, 2017

When did he admit to “bending over for other men”? U have quite an imagination because I’m pretty sure he didn’t say anything about a sexual position.

  7. Avenger January 19, 2017

Chance started a campaign to get n***** to smile, because apparently he thinks black men aren’t “peppy” enough. Now his brother is gay. That whole family is just weird.

When did Hip Hop go from the streets to being a hipster edition of Blues Clues?

    • Myownstan January 19, 2017

So because his brother is bi that contributes to the family being weird?? Stfu.

      • Avenger January 19, 2017

“So because his brother is bi that contributes to the family being weird??”

        Yep.

    • Danzou January 19, 2017

Hip Hop didn’t start in the streets you dumb asshole. It started with the sugar hill gang. Then went to the streets around the time NWA started popping. With that being said, it’s OUR craft as blacks, gay or straight, to claim. You’re so close minded that you haven’t even considered that your favorite rapper may be on the low.

      • Avenger January 19, 2017

Are you serious?! What an ignoramus. Hip Hop did not…I repeat: DID NOT…start with The Sugar Hill Gang. They were simply the first to crack the top 40 with “Rappers Delight.” Hip Hop started in the early to mid 1970s at house and street parties in the South Bronx, with deejays hosting parties and an emcee (rapper) rhyming over the records they played. From there, kids started rapping over instrumentals of disco records.

The Sugar Hill Gang was assembled in 1979 to capitalize on the growing movement in an attempt to bring it mainstream. Hell, the Sugar Hill Gang wasn’t even the first act to put it on wax. Kurtis Blow (whose name, undoubtedly, you’ve never heard) was out before The Sugar Hill Gang. The Sugar Hill Gang was actually a phony set up put together by Sugar Hill Records, just to exploit the new emerging culture. They were 1979’s version of Iggy Azalea. With Hip Hop being so unmainstream at the time, for the time being nobody cared that they were disingenuous, corny and basically fake.

And NWA didn’t take it to the streets. Again, Hip Hop started in the streets. NWA wasn’t even the first act to make it “grittier,” that can arguably be credited to Grandmaster Flash’s “The Message” in 1982. NWA didn’t emerge until around 1987-1988.

Thanks for putting on display every ounce of the complete ignorance you possess. You have no knowledge of anything, yet dare to speak. How old are you? 14? Do you even remember a time before Drake and Rihanna? Be quiet, little girl.

      • Danzou January 19, 2017

And how old are you h**? If you’re old enough to have lived through that time then you need to find something better to do than writing essays that still don’t prove your point. Get that some “hood” and “street” narative out of your head. Anyone who can rap should be able to so shut the f*** up.

    • Madbrax January 19, 2017

you black folks are jokes. keep asking for equality and acceptance while not accepting responsibility for your actions. blame others, treat others like s*** but demand to be treated with respect. stfu

      • Danzou January 19, 2017

You can’t be this mad. You need you some p****.

      • Caleb January 20, 2017

Can Madbrax please be banned from the comments for hate speech?

  8. Stephy January 19, 2017

Stop with damn “announcements”. Gay is legal and it’s none of anyone’s business what goes on sexually between two age consenting adults, period.

    • JustCoastWitHa January 19, 2017

yea, but its smarter for him to make an announcement than for him to be caught up in a gay “scandal” later on.

  9. JustCoastWitHa January 19, 2017

    aww. that’s nice of him.

  10. Avi January 19, 2017

This is what passes for celebrity these days?

  11. Danzou January 19, 2017

This has to be a thing. sexuality is still treated as scandalous. Stop saying “this isn’t news.” You’re just mad because u don’t have this support in your life. the only way to avoid being seen that way is to reclaim your sexuality before someone can use it against you. It also has to be an example to other families that a gay person should be supported by you. There’s no where near as many LGBTQAPPI people in this world as there is “normal” people so the few of us should be supported by loved ones.

  12. Mark111 /.\ January 19, 2017

Looks like he already had the support from his family. It’s really not a big deal, I don’t care who my family members phucks, I don’t even want to think about it.

  13. stan January 19, 2017

    they look so much alike

  14. DTG January 19, 2017

  16. donedone January 19, 2017

I don’t know any straight woman who wants a man who Likes to suck d*** and take it up the ass. He just needs to say he’s gay and be truthful

    • Danzou January 19, 2017

theres a lot of them across tumblr. open your close minded ass brain will you?

    • therealist January 20, 2017

your brain is closed minded. I have a homegirl who is bi and her boyfriend is also. She actually strips up for him and she likes doing it.

    • Caleb January 20, 2017
