Behind The Scenes: Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Show

Published: Friday 10th Feb 2017 by Sam

Lady Gaga wracked up ample applause for her roof-raising performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last week.

Now, Mother Monster is inviting the masses behind the scenes of the epic showing to share how it was pieced together.

As earlier reported, the 30-year-old began rehearsals shortly after the announcement was made last Fall.

Preparation took place at a variety of places, including a soundstage in Burbank, California, a tent in Gaga’s backyard, and eventually at the NRG Stadium in Houston.

Clearly, it paid off in more ways than one. Beyond the critical praise, the singer delivered dynamite ratings, received a huge sales spike, and launched a tour.

Watch how Gaga’s titan-like touchdown came to be below…

We are still living though her halftime show? For me it was good while it lasted but lackluster. I needed more surprises than a fake jump from dome ceiling and and the jump at the end. I would have liked some guests brought out.

yes they are mad, not sure why though…bey gave a great performance considered one of the best halftime shows ever…why cant they just be proud of that and let gaga get her shine…is the -2million still that sore?

Beyhive pliz gaga did well almost as good as beyonce. The two are the only great performers left aside from Madonna so let’s not tear them apart to lift the other. In a world full of trashy artists like rihanna, we should be grateful gaga, bey and Madonna exist to save the music industry.

She truly killed it the more that I think about it. Everything live and with no guests. And despite having what it seemed the less hype prior to the show from these last few years, she commanded and made the aundience want to stay and watch. Meaning it was her, her show and her talent, nothing else, what made her be the first one since Madonna that actually made the ratings from the actual match increase. The sales increase seem to also be one of the biggest in these recent years. Congrats to real talent on my behalf, as always 🙂

    Yawn…

She has a huge sales spike because she has the worst catalogue sales, plus she has a new album out. But congrats, it was a success!

    • JOHNVIDAL February 11, 2017

No real arguments given by you sorry. It was a success, probably the biggest one since Madonna´s, with the slight difference that this time it wasn´t hyped before the show (like Madonna´s was), which makes it even more impressive (and also the fact that it was live and with no guest for the first time in a trillion years like I said, unlike Madonna´s 🙂 ).
