Calvin Harris Teams With Frank Ocean For New Collaboration / Shares Fresh Preview

Published: Monday 20th Feb 2017 by Sam

Calvin Harris has made quite the career out of cutting edge collaborations – and he’s showing no signs of slowing up.

The Scottish hitmaker has teamed with Frank Ocean and Migos star Offset for his latest creation.

To amplify excitement for the track, the Harris has been sharing previews on Snapchat.

Take a listen below. It sounds like the makings of a bop!

We like.

It’s great to hear Frank on something with more mass appeal. Not so much because “mass appeal” outranks artistry, but mainly because it’ll wash out the taste of ‘Endless’ and ‘Blond.’ Both of which were banally blah – save for a few tracks.

Your thoughts?

I strongly opposed to this, he’s not interested in making mainstream music, that’s not where his talent shines, if people don’t appreciate his artistry just because is not their type/not what they’re into, then forget about the artist, and don’t try to like them by wishing them to reduce themselves by making mediocre popular music, just for a little taste of mainstream success, at the end of the day, you will probably end up liking his mainstream sound but you’ll never gonna be a fan, you will always be a fan of musically inferior popular female pop stars, so let him be, don’t force yourself to like something that you can’t comprehend. I hate when people want indie artists to become more mainstream, same thing with Lana, people want her to be another pop girl, like, forget about it, enjoy diversity, artists like Frank and Lana are a rarity in the music industry these days.

Frank and Lana are boring as hell, it’s no not even that deep.

      • S****** Blonde February 20, 2017

I’m not even a fan of his music but the man is clearly not into mainstream music, that being said, this song doesn’t sound like it’s going to be generic like the Calvin’s other offerings.
