Kesha Releases Abusive Emails Allegedly Sent By Dr. Luke

Published: Thursday 16th Feb 2017 by David

The heat Dr. Luke faces from the world over his alleged abusing of the Pop vocalist Kesha has intensified following the unearthing of emails he is said to have sent to her.

Read below…

The emails below were sent between Luke and Kesha’s manager Monica Cornia.

Read them below via ‘Page Six’:

“Nobody was calling anybody out,” Dr. Luke writes to Cornia at 2:11 a.m. on June 28, 2012, according to a copy of the email.

“We were having a discussion on how she can be more disciplined with her diet. there have been many times we have all witnessed her breaking her diet plan. this perticular [sic] time — it happened to be diet coke and turkey while on an all juice fast,” the producer gripes.

Cornia asks him to be more supportive because she’s “a human and not a machine,” then adds, “if she were a machine that would be way cool and we could do whatever we want.”

Dr. Luke also reveals in an earlier message that “A list songwriters and producers are reluctant to give Kesha their songs because of her weight.”

In a May 2012 email exchange between Cornia, Kesha and other managers, Cornia discusses a fight between the singer and her producer over lyrics for what would become her hot single “Crazy Kids.”

In one email, Cornia says Dr. Luke wanted the phrase, “You see us in the club sip sippin bub,” while Kesha preferred, “You see us in the streets we da we da freaks,” because she doesn’t go to clubs.

“I don’t give a s–t what you want. If you were smart you would go in and sing it,” Dr. Luke allegedly told Kesha, according to Cornia.

Luke’s legal team have responded to the release of his damning messages.

They shared:

Kesha and her attorneys continue to mislead by refusing to disclose the larger record of evidence showing the bad faith of Kesha Sebert and her representatives which is greatly damaging to them.

It also shows the tremendous support that Dr Luke provided Kesha regarding artistic and personal issues, including Kesha’s own concerns over her weight.

Rather than agree to a thorough disclosure, Kesha and her representatives improperly publicized, without court permission, three out-of-context emails which do not present the full picture regarding the events they concern.

Dr Luke looks forward to full vindication in court.

    • Truth February 16, 2017

A claim substantiated by zero evidence.

Omg its been 10years and they still going back and forth

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Not ten years she barely signed her contract ten years ago.

      • Barb B**** February 16, 2017

        I think he’s being sarcastic

Girl, no one cares anymore. Seriously, it’s sad what happened to you – but in fact, it’s nothing new. When entering the business, you know that it all comes down to looks and to sing what they want you to. You’re a puppet the first couple years and that’s it. Either you play the game or try being independent since day 1. the circumstances those pop singers are treated are well known for years and she acts as if she was the only one being bullied for her weight

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Very true I don’t know why so soon either she thought she would have control over her sound and image. It is a game which must be played.

  4. Meme February 16, 2017

Umm…these emails don’t say much, however the tone does seem aggressive . I’m not here to say who is right or who is wrong but it’s clear Kesha had an issue with her own weight. If you’re in the music business you image is just as important as your sound. I don’t know the depth of their relationship but he seem like someone who put a lot of focus on her and wanted her to be big. But she comes off lazy.

  5. RhiRocks February 16, 2017

I just don’t understand why they won’t release her from the contract ! It’s such shame. Thing is I actually think Kesha is in the right over all this otherwise she wouldn’t be wasting all her money to fight this. It’s easy to say she knew what she was getting her self into etc cos it’s the music industry s*** like this happens but he abused her mentally , emotionally and physically.

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Perhaps but this is just how the industry works. This is why only the tough survive it. She signed a contract and then dispariaged his name beyond repair. That’s why he isn’t just letting his money maker go easily.

His career has been over for a while now !

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Yeah thanks fmto her allegations only though. Prior he was the biggest producer to go to for a hit song. Her career would still be semi hot had she not allowed the stall in album releases.

  7. ronnoc February 16, 2017

I’m torn, yeah nobody should be treated like that, but on the other hand there are folks out here struggling with a minimum wage job, you’re making millions, quit complaining and just continue your damn diet

    • Meme February 16, 2017

Right, she comes off like a brat. She wasn’t complaining when she was dying for stardom and him though.

      • XYZ February 16, 2017

Oh seriously, a lot of people are mentally abused in there jobs. May it come from bosses, customers or colleagues. A lot of people are forced to look a certain way in their jobs, to wear certain clothes, have certain haircuts or are not allowed to be fat. And those are people working for a lot less than her.

She knew what she was signing, as a model knows what she is doing by choosing her job. Otherwise Kesha should have just stayed behind the spotlight and write some songs. She chose to be on stage, then she has to live with the unrealistic body standards this brings with it.

    • Carlitos February 16, 2017

Both of y’all need to shut your c*** sucking mouths. You have not a clue how hard it is to deal with abuse on a daily basis, because if you did, you wouldn’t be saying these insensitive, disgusting comments.

      • ronnoc February 16, 2017

Calm down niña, nobody insulted your mother there’s no need for name calling

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Yeah I would do a lot of things if my number one job was simply to look beautiful and have a hot body like how is your health a bad job to have. I mean I’m sure some personal trainers speak like that to clients too. Like if you agreed to something commit and do the hard work to get the body you want or need.

  8. Mar February 16, 2017

Here’s the thing tho. If she was such a pain and causing soo much trouble she would have been dropped anywhere else. Something is off. He is definitely holding her for personal reasons.

    • MusicLife February 16, 2017

Well it would become personal to me too if someone who I was helping become a superstar began allegations against me that ruined my name, standing, and career in pop music.

      • Mar February 16, 2017

Most people would just blacklist the artist. Him holding on to her contract is malicious. Especially if she’s causing soo much trouble. When your f****** up at work their gonna fire you not keep you to hold you back from the next job.

      • Carlitos February 16, 2017

Redbox, or whatever your name is, if I wanted any of your lip, I’d wiggle my zipper.?

  9. sam is TRASH February 16, 2017

Kinda over this entire story. Ke$ha stop playing the victim and make good music

  10. MusicLife February 16, 2017

This is the music industry. And if you haven’t worked in it yeah this may sound harsh but it is just how it is. In a creative environment things like this happen.

I’m not shocked at all. I had a direct manager basically scream at me. No lie.

This whole situation has been messy though. Like I don’t know why she doesn’t just fulfill her poorly agreed and signed to contract. She needs to be mad at her lawyers for letting her sign like a six album contract, I can see why Luke doesn’t want to lose his star artist and since she has forever soiled his name why he isn’t so quick to ease up on letting her continue her career elsewhere because now his career has been basically damaged beyond repair after being Pops biggest producer since like 2005.

Honestly I wish nothing ever happened to hurt their relationship because I love their music together.

  11. Stephy February 16, 2017

He r**** her, period. He needs to man up apologize, serve his f****** time and be done with it. I hate weak ass victims. She gotta stop looking all pathetic and weak. Jesus. She’s destroying her career and her whole legacy will know be known ass the r*** victim.

    • MusicFan103 February 16, 2017

So now you are either Kesha or Dr. Luke since you know for fact he r@ped her. Interesting.

  12. B_Roni February 16, 2017

Waaaaaait a minute lol. Are you the same commenters who criticize Tinashe and others for doing certain music but are also saying kesha should have known that she doesn’t have control. Then shouldn’t you be giving this same explanation for New artist. When it’s Tinashe or any other newby all I hear is she is abandoning her fans and sound. Also you ask people to stand up and when they do it’s a problem. Then you ask her to shut up and make good music but oh wait… she doesn’t have control so she makes what ever he tells her too. So what do you guys want from her. “lol I’m not even a Kesha fan and I can see there is more to this story than meets the eye. Both of them are hiding things

  13. Now at youfr best game way tuesidnz February 17, 2017

    Here it go again

  14. scott February 17, 2017

Too bad she has nothing to support the r*** allegations — aka the basis of her case. Bye, Kesha.
