New Video: Trey Songz – ‘Animal’

Published: Friday 17th Mar 2017 by David

The envy of many a R&B hopeful Trey Songz is back with a scorching new visual!

What it was shot to support? His new number ‘Animal‘ which is housed by his March 24th release ‘Tremaine The Playboy.’

I’m a boss, I’m a boss, I’m the leader of the pack
Boomerang, boomerang, baby, gon’ and throw it back
Do your thang, do your thang, girl, you dunno how to act
I’m a dog, I’m a dog…

Watch, if you’re 18 or older, below…

 This that ghetto Kama Sutra
Twist and bend and bend and twistin’ all around
Treat you like you’re in danger
And this the last time that I can take you down
That National Geographic (uh huh)
Document it and record it on a film
Anybody got a camera? Uh
Oh, you wanna experiment

Your thoughts?

    Women are a plus.
But every Trey Songz video with the same
Every album he releases the same
My personal opinion is he shows no growth in his music.
I’ll pass on this video too.
The only video I every liked of Trey Songz is when he had the one featuring Kelly Rowland

The only real force in R&b is Beyonce, there’s no room for others, hang it up boy.
Sometimes I think Beyonce also killed a lot of male careers: Usher, Dangelo, Maxwell, Mario, they were all hot, but then Beyonce debuted and it was a wrap for them.

    • Jamon March 17, 2017

Beyonce has nothing to do with any artist career. If they don’t come with good material, then their music isn’t going to sell. Beyonce debuted in 2003, Usher released Confessions in 2004 and that went Diamond, a feat Beyonce has yet to receive. He released platinum albums even after that. Maxwell even had a platinum album. Alicia Keys was outselling Beyonce. Mariah Carey came with the Emancipation of Mimi and outsold all of Beyonce’s album’s and We Belong Together was named SONG of the decade. Mary came with the Breakthrough, that went triple platinum. Rihanna still sells singles and albums. If any of those artist came with some radio friendly songs, then their albums would sell. Today’s music sucks and all of them has stayed true to their art and has not tried to go pop. I still buy their singles and albums. Beyonce has had 2 top 10 songs in the pass 7 year’s.

Ok but don’t try to downplay Beyoncé success. Let’s not act like Bey has been trying to get number one singles but all that matters is that unlike all of the people you named Beyoncé has had 3 platinum albums (one being double platinum) this decade something that all of those people you named has yet to achieve. I don’t condone people always putting Bey over everybody but you need to put some respek on the queens name cuz every time Beyoncé drops she’s going to platinum for the rest of her career her longevity is unmatched. She’s still the biggest artist in the game 20 years later.

      • RihYonce March 17, 2017

        *well except Rihanna ?

      • Jamon March 17, 2017

I wasn’t downplaying Beyonce, I was staying facts on how other R&B artist have been successful before and after Beyonce. She’s a great performer and is very popular, however, she does not have anything to do with other artists careers or sales. There is room for everyone. Trust me, Beyonce’s sells have dropped over the year’s, along with most other artists. She will not continue to go platinum. Just ask Mariah, Madonna, Janet, Celine etc, and no shade but she hasn’t even been close to their sales, no shade to her.

      • Jamon March 17, 2017

Honestly she’s not the biggest artist in the game. At the end of the decade Adele, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Drake, Justin Bieber, maybe Bruno Mars will be ahead of her on the billboard lists. Others creeping up are Ed Sherman and the Weeknd. Not saying there better artists, but their music sells better then hers. They go platinum/muliti platinum and their singles go number 1 or easily cracks the top 10. Beyonce goes platinum, but her fans don’t buy her singles.

With all the praise and fans she has, I still don’t understand why her numbers don’t reflect!! Formation was a good song and it was performed at the superbowl, but it barely cracked the top 10. Drunk in love was a good song, but was blocked from #1 by Katy Perrys “Darkhorse”. Thenot you have songs like “Fancy” (which I still don’t understand what she’s saying) shooting to #1.

Usher didn’t try to go pop? You’re tripping.

      • RihYonce March 17, 2017

She’s not Janet or Mariah. Unlike them Beyoncé is unpredictable and she keeps people on their toes. She always have people guessing what her next move is. After a while Janet and Mariah became predictable and boring. Beyoncé is in a league of her own and she will continue to shake these up and drive the industry and the way music is released to another level every time she release some an album.

      • RihYonce March 17, 2017

        *releases an album

      • Jamon March 18, 2017

I don’t know how old you are Rihyonce, but you clearly don’t know anything about music. Especially saying Janet and Mariah were boring. Janet and Madonna kept people guessing and reinventing themselves. Janets Rhythm Nation set the bar. Beyonce is good at what she does, but her new sound isn’t anything that hasn’t been done before. “Formation” and “Drunk in love” were typical Beyonce. Beyonce trying to switch sounds was already done by Tina Turner in the mid 80’s.

    • Jamon March 17, 2017

Not to mention D’angelo’s last big album was in 2000. He didn’t release another album for 14 year’s, due to personal struggles. How old are you?

I won’t knock his hustle. He’s trying. I don’t know how this single will do in today’s climate, though. Great thematic strategy in renting the house and using it for all of the videos.

  13. DanYiel Iman March 17, 2017

Well I liked the song & video it’s a catchy hook so I’m with it…??‍♂️

  15. RICHIE_RICH March 17, 2017

Omg what does Beyoncé have to do with any of this? Certain stans need to stop putting her above other cause she’s not. We all equal.
