Watch: Madonna Releases Short Film In Honor of International Women’s Day

With photographer/directors Luigi & Lango in tow, Queen of Pop Madonna teamed with ‘Vogue Germany’ for ‘Her-Story’: a short film in celebration of ‘International Women’s Day.’

A self-proclaimed ‘revolution of love’ and ‘refusal to accept this new age of tyranny,’ a suspected dig at President Donald Trump, the glossy black-and-white affair see the controversial hitmaker reference everything from Nazi Germany to her usual stomping ground – religion.

Coming as one of many female artists lifting a nod to the day (including Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and many more), tuck in below for your first peek at the film:
