Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd and Max Martin teamed up for a creative cause recently when they joined forces to hatch the song ‘Lust for Life’.

Then, we dance on the H of the Hollywood sign, yeah
‘Til we run out of breath, gotta dance ’til we die (duwop, duwop)
My boyfriend’s back, and he’s cooler than ever (shuwop, shuwop)
There’s no more night, blue skies forever

Listen below…

‘Cause we’re the masters of our own fate
We’re the captains of our own souls
There’s no way for us to come away
‘Cause boy we’re gold, boy we’re gold
And I was like…

He’s not at her level, artistically speaking. This is the first time she has disappointed me, guess, there’s always a first time.

One has to dumb themselves to get some relevance on singles charts. That´s all. You know it.

I like the intro kinda reminds me of Lykke Li but overall nah it’s like she recycled songs from BTD. Will probably grow on me when I listen to the album in full

Two vocally challenged fads. I’m imagining how awful this would sound live lol

This would be awful live I agree LOL But Lana has some serious artistry going on. I lover her albums and her sound so much.

I love the constant space references this era. The Milky Way in the case of this video. So fascinating.

She’s definitely going for more melodic/cinematic BTD sound this era, it’s nice, but on first listen I prefer ‘Love’, the Weekend isn’t too winey and annoying here. I REALLY hope she has a full version of ‘STAR GIRL’ on her album – I WILL GAG – that track is FIRE.
